Abortion should be the woman's choice. There is a lot of mental preparation for pregnancy and childbirth. It is the woman's body, why wouldn't she be able to choose?

I propose that an individual cannot possibly prepare for the effects and impact of abortion on their lives, regardless of the outcome, and therefore a modified medical procedure system is required as it were by other surgeries and procedures of the same type revolving around bodily processes.

But the woman has a maternal feeling and is very connected to her child. If she chooses to get an abortion, I feel that it is an okay choice. Many people don't understand that abortion has a lot of circumstances that it is actually almost required. If a woman has to choose between her life and the baby's, no one can tell her that abortion isn't okay, and that she will just have to die during childbirth. Many people don't understand that abortion is a big decision. It is just as big of a decision as marriage. Women spend hours deciding what she wants to do. It is no doubt just a split-second decision, it is a long and hard process and it is to be taken seriously. We spend hours deciding what to do. It is life or death for the fetus, something that is not a joking matter.

"Many people don't understand that abortion has a lot of circumstances that it is actually almost required. If a woman has to choose between her life and the baby's, no one can tell her that abortion isn't okay, and that she will just have to die during childbirth."

I feel that this is an appeal to humanity / emotion versus a logical argument; it is unbelievably rare that this is the case relative to the birth rate and furthermore doctors already act against this ( http://www.mayoclinic.org... ) in more than one way with more than one particular style. It is seen as not necessarily best for women who would have that kind of risk to ever get pregnant to begin with and take every step against it.

Also, who is "Many?"

"Many people don't understand that abortion is a big decision. It is just as big of a decision as marriage. Women spend hours deciding what she wants to do. It is no doubt just a split-second decision, it is a long and hard process and it is to be taken seriously. We spend hours deciding what to do. Again, who is "Many?"; this is an appeal to emotion on every front. The modified suggestion for the process of abortion however greatly supports this idea versus contradicts it. Abortion as an option should be better weighed by professional and external sources instead of a personal decision made alone or made alongside those who are just as emotionally charged and lack objectivity.

totally agree.. women should have the right to decide- unless, mental incapacity gets in the way of a clear decision, in which assistance should be provided
