Debate Rounds (5)
Abortion was declared by the U.S supreme court as acceptable by the constitution. "This right of privacy... is broad enough to encompass a woman's decision whether or not to terminate her pregnancy." http://abortion.procon.org...
Education should focus more on preventing pregnancy.
There are "1.1 million abortions happen each year." http://studentsforlife.org...
Child birth causes permanent side affects like:
-You will have vaginal discharge called lochia (LOH-kee-uh). It is the tissue and blood that lined your uterus during pregnancy. It is heavy and bright red at first, becoming lighter in flow and color until it goes aware after a few weeks.
-You might also have swelling in your legs and feet. You can reduce swelling by keeping your feet elevated when possible.
-You might feel constipated. Try to drink plenty of water and eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
Menstrual-like cramping is common, especially if you are breastfeeding. Your breast milk will come in within three to six days after your delivery. Even if you are not breastfeeding, you can have milk leaking from your nipples, and your breasts might feel full, tender, or uncomfortable.
This pain has permanent affects on your body, and Abortion helps You avoid it
In the world 3 out of every 100 people are effected by cancer. If there are 7 million people in the world, that means the 2333333333 people are effected by cancer. Abortion can be used to cut off cancer from travelling through generations of families.

Other reasons include finanses or drug addictions, or even that there job requires to much attention to have to take care of the child.
In some cases, the baby will live a very short and painful life from something like a disability. That baby is aborted so that it doesnt need to suffer that painful life
By stopping abortions, there will be more children available to adopt by families wanting to provide those unwanted children a forever home.
in reality, a fetus is just a bunch of cells. It has not fully developed any vital organs like lungs. This means that an abortion is not murder, it is just killing of cells in the wound. If the child has no organs developed that would be vital for the baby to survive outside the wound, than having an abortion is not murder.
Abortion is murder and the practice should be discontinued. Continuing to educate the public about abortions and the terrible consequences it has not only on the fetus, but the mother, society, and future generations is very important. Educating the public has been helping the matter. "After reaching a high of over 1.6 million in 1990, the number of abortions performed annually in the U.S. have dropped to around 1.06 million a year." http://www.nrlc.org...
