Pro

I strongly believe in pro life and have yet been convinced other whys. The logical thing to do if you don't want the baby is to give it up for adoption. That way the baby can still live its life with a family that really wants a baby.
Aerogant

Con

I argue that some mothers and doctors enjoy playing space invaders with fetuses.

It's all in good fun! It's not like the baby is consciously aware of its pain - they react like plants react until a certain stage where abortions do not occur legally.

Ending a life is not "in all good fun!" Whether they feel the pain or not, its about ending a life that they chose to create in the first place. http://www.mccl.org...

They being the Fetus, the unborn baby.

Con

I didn't know the fetus and the unborn baby were the same thing - I was taught that the fetus is the egg. Inside that egg is the unborn baby. So is a seed a tree? Is an egg a chicken? Yes! Let's open ourselves to a new array of terminology! Wait! I think I get it! When a woman is pregnant, she goes through terms - when we explain these terms we use word terms - WHAT IF, WORDS ARE CONNECTED TO THE WOMB! Maybe, JUST MAYBE, that is why people say "you're thinking with the wrong head", or "that's a mighty fine tower you got there", or "what happened to your soil, it looks like it got ran over by horse hooves and conquistadors!". Amazing! Maybe that's why we say "hatch an idea", because our word terms are connected to the womb terms! WAIT THERE'S MORE. You have to open yourself up to get pregnant! You have to open yourself up to word terms! I think I am a word wizard right now with a very large rod that can create terms in two ways, oh yeah! Come and get me ladies, I am not only a naughty wizard that can handle terms in more than one way, but I am am against pro-abortionists! Stand by me ladies, we'll take down these people! They care more about your unbirth egg than our own men, women and children fighting in the wars built on the same little egg inside our heads that needs to be destroyed called ego! And I'll celebrate our victory by making eggs in the nude in the morning! Don't worry, I am very fit - I can't say the same for a pro-abortionists argument though! How about we go and egg their houses! Sound good?

Reasons for voting decision: S/G is a wash--capitalization for emphasis is appropriate. Conduct--wash. I cannot award sources to the Pro because the source is not reliable. Arguments must go to the Con.

Reasons for voting decision: CON randomly CAPitalized. Pro's arguments still stand. Con's R3 cannot be responded to; as such I discount it. Pro had a source.

Reasons for voting decision: Con accidently made a really good argument when he mentioned the fact that we don't consider a seed to be a tree, so why consider a fetus to be a baby? He did go pretty off topic though so I will give Pro the points for conduct.
