Debate Round No. 1
African

Pro

It is by regret that i should say this : Africans are not civilized. In Egypt the ousted mahommed morsi and in Libya they removed ghaddhafi. And more supprisingly these heads of states were democratically elected. Why didn't they remove them democratically.
birdlandmemories

Con

MY opponent says africans cannot help each other. That is clearly false. Look at the photo below of Africans showing teamwork

Look, they are helping each other.

Look at this next photo:

Africans are helping other Africans out of flood waters.

These 2 photos help show that Africans do help each other. Vote con.

There is a common debate format used on this site that you may want to adhere to. Usually, this is how debates are layed out.

Round 1: Description of debate by Instigator, Acceptance by Contender (You may post opening arguments and bypass the need for this round entirely if you wish.)

Round 2: Opening arguments. No rebuttals.

Round 3-4: Rebuttals, new arguments. (You do not have to do 5 rounds. 4 is usually good if you do an acceptance round. 3 if you don't.)

Final round: Closing statements, no new arguments.

I hope I am not driving you off the site African. Though I disagree with your stance, I hope you read over the voter comments and learn for future debates. If you truly feel strongly on this issue, I would suggest posting it again once you have done a few other debates started by other people, and make it more rounds.

Reasons for voting decision: CON successfully refuted PRO, has better punctuation. Conduct goes to CON because PRO's claims are offensive. Also, CON had sources.

Reasons for voting decision: Okay, so let's see... African did not fulfill his burden of proof, and birdlandmemories showed him to be false. Con made more convincing arguments and proved that Pro's case was faulty. Pro did not use correct punctuation. Con was not racist. Blah blah blah.

Reasons for voting decision: This was not a good debate, though I suppose that is hard to accomplish with only two rounds. I recommend to African that in the future, he gives more characters, and more rounds so that he can do a first round with no arguments and still have time for rebuttals. Now, I agreed with Con, mostly because I was not a racist, and even if African had made the better arguments, It still would not have swayed my mind due to the lack of time for true argumentation and rebuttal. I did not give Con conduct, though I thought about doing so, because although Pro was racist, racism was present in the Resolution, so he cannot be cited for that. Spelling and grammar goes to con because birdlandmemories properly capitalized and spaced, and used proper grammatical constructions. I would recommend that Pro read over his mistakes before posting. Con had the better arguments, simply because Pro gave poor excuses for reasons, and I must point out that these 'democratic rulers' are sortof dictato
