Hi everybody!

After a messy third-trimester abortion, there's nothing better than a feast for all present for the trauma of an abortion. That is why it is better to eat the fetus on the scene of the abortion rather than to wait til later, when the fetus might have rotted a little and may not be as tasty - its juices may have all leaked out by then, and it would not be as nourishing. At the scene, it is easy enough to rustle up a quick barbecue and some sauce - it could be a family event! It is best for everybody, especially when the doctor is tired and hungry.

I rest my case.

The idea of engaging in such a cannibalistic act so shortly after the birth of a Fetus (for the definition of a third trimester abortion: "It is during this time that a baby born prematurely may survive. The use of modern medical intensive care technology has greatly increased the probability of premature babies surviving, and has pushed back the boundary of viability to much earlier dates than would be possible without assistance." [wikipedia.org]) is both morally repugnant and extremely unhealthy.
I will cite a few arguments as to why it would be probably cause you to acquire a negative stigma and also possibly imperil your health.

1. Inadequate cooking facilities- In order to adequately perform the many preparations described by my opponent, one would require much more robust facilities than the hospital cafeteria can provide, much less that can be brought into your hospital room. Many neurological disorders have been caused by such acts (wikipedia.org) and can be greatly decreased by proper preparation and cooking (wikipedia.org). It also contracts a higher possibility of bacterial growth, which could be eliminated through cooking to a proper temperature (probably around 160 degrees Fahrenheit)

2. Censorship- It may be a better idea to censor such acts, as many law enforcement agencies can attempt to make cases against this, even though there is no such law defending its illegality (CSI NY). There is also the possibility that other hospital patrons may find the idea displeasurable, increasing the possibility of law enforcement agency involvement and disease spread due to possible vomit from other patrons due to their puritanical conditioning (American History). There is also the possibility that you may have to share the small portion that you will obtain with other patrons wishing to try your meal, which could in turn make them sick and invite law suits over food poisoning, and will inevitably decrease the meager amount of food which you already have obtained (speculation).

In summary, it would probably be preferable to at least wait until you are home to attempt the act proposed by my opponent, or possibly avoid it, as it would not yield a large amount of food in general.

I believe the negative arguments are not responsive to the original claims made by the affirmative (pro). As an mother and granny, I believe that Bristol's baby, should it not have survived, would definitely been the Thanksgiving entrée as I don't endorse in eating turkeys.
