Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan ran out of fuel and crash landed on an island. She ended up on an island and lived for a few days until she died.

Con

I disagree with that because she had no island within 350 miles of howland island and did not have enough fuel to get to an island.

I believe that she landed on the island of Nikumaroro. She saw she was running out of and saw the island.

Con

There is no way she could've landed on the island because when she went off course she was at 1,000 ft and she did not have enough gas to be able to get to the island.

According to history.com, a few years ago an officers on the island found a skeleton and biologist have linked it to be hers. And Nikumaroro wasn't that far away from where she was supposed to land.

Con

Yes that was found but DNA searches found it to be a male and not Fred Noonan and when she crashed in the ocean she couldn't have got to the island.
