Amelia ear heart did't on an island, but in fact landed on a patch of water and sunk with her plane
kademyhre

Con

Fred Noonyan (Amelia's navigator) and Amelia got into a fight the night before they crashed into the ocean. Fred went to the bar and got drunk, which may be one of the explanations as to why they weren't able to locate Howland Island.

i have thorough evidence on their last gas, direction, and speed records before she crashed and according to it, no drastic changes were made indicating that he more than likely wasn't hung over

Just because the plane doesn't make drastic changes of speed doesn't mean he wasn't hungover. Does that really make since Andrew? It is proven that he got drunk the night before, which would cause him to be hungover the next day.

ok. he could've been hung over, but all a hangover does is give you a raging headache, it doesn't impair your senses to a degree that drunkness does. Your idea is good, but her plane hasn't been found any of the islands surrounding howland
