I will be arguing that the complicated history of the United States of America is justified.

I thank the person that accepts and I wish him/her good luck in this debate.
Adam2

Con

Thank you, with a history of oppressing Native Americans, following Britain and Denmark's legacies as brutal colonial powers, and Jim Crow, NO, our history is not justified -- at least not all. And of course add sites like Sodahead and Funadvice which are total racist scams.

I accept.
Debate Round No. 1

Pro

I apologize to my opponent. I am busy with work at this time and have no time for a long, controversial, very serious debate. I thank my opponent for the debate and again, apologize to him and to the voters. Unless my opponent forfeits rather than accepts my concession, vote con.

Whenever I see the American flag I see four things: 1) Blood, 2) Tears, 3) Nothing and 4) Pop stars.

America: The land of the feeble and the home of the graves.

The main issues I am talking about are Slavery, Indian Removal, and the Mexican War. I am not saying that slavery is okay. I am saying that at the time it kind of needed to be around.

Not to mention the ill deeds in South America and the instigation of the Russian Rev.

I have other debates, but if the challenge is still open in a few days I will accept.

Three untenable events in America's history:
1. The Salem witch trials.
2. Slavery.
3. Japanese internment.

What do you mean by "justified?" Justification usually applies to a specific action, like "declaring the _____ war was justified" but it is hard to apply that word to all history in general.
