"Animal research has played a vital role in virtually every major medical advance of the last century - for both human and veterinary health. " says Animal Bio medalist Kristen Cook. These are the words of one the co founders of the Biomedical Research Foundation. Animal testing is mainly used for research and is mostly done in a laboratory environment. There have been banes in the United States and in the UK about animal testing on cosmetics. Animal testing has been around since the 4TH and 5th century. With the help of animal testing, we are able to help save animals from danger, find cures to diseases such as cancer, AIDs and other life threatening diseases, and we are able to save the lives of thousands. Testing on animals should be allowed but up to a certain extent.
