I propose that the effect of Anti-Trust laws operate is to protect corporations from competition, the opposite of their stated purpose. My entire argument is given by Thomas DiLorenzo in the following YouTube video:

And I would like to see if someone can present a factual or effective rebuttal to DiLorenzo's argument.

sorry man, didn't know this video was an hour long, you don't expect someone to watch the whole thing do you, shouldn't you come up with your own argument?

can you start the argument from your own perception please for round 2?

Lol J.K., I'll pass this one on the grounds I really don't care.

I'm only a few minutes in but this video is easily refuted as he provides no sources for his "dozens". He says that several times. I am not interested unless Pro is willing to back up his speaker with data; otherwise, I see a forfeit in the making when evidence is shown to rebut the first few minutes of the video. Present a case Pro, and define all terms. I will take it.

I will watch the video, but anti trust laws require some legal frame work. I am fine with that aspect, but a video as a full argument? Bah, give us your best waynethx.

I'd post Paul Krugman and Brad DeLong talking for two hours each. Wait. That might be considered torture, so I'll refrain.

If you were to take it and post a YouTube, what YouTube would you post?

Posting a Youtube video is not an argument. What would you think if your opponent responded by just posting another video from some other guy? If you like DiLorenzo's arguments, then use them, just make sure you source them and give him credit! This is *your* debate, not Thomas DiLorenzo's.

Reasons for voting decision: As the hour long video no longer exists, and pro dropped out when asked for a cross examination; argument to con. SOURCES: Assuming it did exist as con mentioned, pro needs some credit (weak vote I know, but it's been 3 years...)
