In the Jewish religion, they believe, as individuals and as a majority, that they can be harmonized to God even after sinning.. By sinning they can lose their souls, but can earn their salvation back through repenting and living morally. In Christianity, an individual must believe Jesus Christ is their Lord and savior to enter the gates of heaven. If you didn't already have this understanding, the Jewish God and the Christian God are the same supreme being. Christianity was established after Judaism. So, if a Jewish man were to want to go to heaven, he would have to believe that Jesus Christ is his Lord and savior. By that definition, the Jewish man through that ideology, he would be considered a Christian man. The only difference between the Christian Bible and the Jewish bible is the lack of the New Testament in the Torah. The ten commandments (which are followed by both religions in the old testament), states one must not have no other gods before God. In Christianity, one must believe Jesus Christ, the son, is the same being as God, the father. This means the belief of Jesus Christ as God himself doesn't contradict the commandment, since they're at an equal position. So with this in mind, does this mean not only Christians, but anyone who can believe that their god is equivalent to the God of the Christians and Jews can be saved living accordingly to the commandments?

Easily enough to refute the argument

P1) For anyone to go to heaven there has to be a heaven
P2) There is no heaven
C) No one can go to heaven

Resolution negated

It's on pro to provide and meet the BOP From his resolution and he just blindly asserted that God and heaven exist without providing evidence to support thus not fulfilling his bop. Any arguments he made in round 1 are invalid unless he is able to prove a God exists. He claims the Jewish and Christian God is the same God in his contention but fails to show they actually exist. Thus he does not affirm his BOP

Us gentiles were grafted into the first covenant by Jesus, the Messiah.Abraham is also our father of faith. It is his covenant with God and all the other covenants that produced Jesus. He walked in those covenants perfectly. Not to prove he can, but to prove we can. We look into the first covenant with that in mind. And our faith is also in those great and prescious promises that God gave to all the first covenant saints.Jesus ( the word of God) is the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father but by ( the word of God). Which lives and abides forever.

That too, should be specified (assuming the Juedeo-Christian God exists.)

Aren't you making the assumption there is a god though? I mean, do you KNOW there's a god?

This is an interesting topic you are bringing up here, Newt. I, however, don't quite understand what you are trying to argue in this debate and it seems to be more appropriate to post and discuss in the forums. To clarify your statement someone who is Jewish can be ethnicly Jewish or religiously Jewish., or both. The Jewish version of the Old Testament is not the Torah, it is the Tanakh, with the Torah being the first five books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) The traditional authorship of the Torah is attributed to Moses, and the Torah deals with the Creation of the World as well as the history of Israel and the Israelites, (from Adam and Eve to Noah to Abraham to Isaac to Jacob to his twelve sons, who later became the Twelve Tribes to Moses.) Also which perspecitive is this argument from? Is it from a Christian perspective or Jewish perspective?
