The first round is for acceptance, I will be arguing the position of Con. Minorities are not as oppressed as they were, say, 10-20 years ago.

No problem, now, the topic at hand, are minorities as oppressed as they were, I believe they are not as oppressed. True, there is still a few things, but not as prominent as before. Many people have created groups such as Black Lives Matter and others, but there really is not as much need for groups such as these. Few people are truly discriminated against. Racial insensitivity is still around, but discrimination, segregation attempts, and racial acts of violence are not as prominent.
