Con

Scenario:
Person 1 and Person 2 are holding Person B hostage, and will soon kill him, acting under their own will.

Person A kills Persons 1 and 2, rescuing Person B.

Persons 1, 2, and B all have family, and they all are in this situation due to circumstances that are largely beyond their control. They are however in complete control of their response to this situation.

Person B is Person A's brother.

Pro

It depends. Would it have been impossible for Person A to rescue Person B without killing Persons 1 and 2?

Sorry for leaving that out. No it would not have been.
Romanii

Pro

In that case, Person A's actions weren't morally acceptable, because he could have saved his brother without killing anyone, but Person 1 and Person 2 are equally at fault, as brought it upon themselves by kidnapping Person B.

Due to some poor wording and mis-reading of a question, I've screwed this debate, and I've screwed my position in it. Please give my opponent points for better conduct.
Romanii

Pro

Ummmm... okay. Thank you for being so honest, I guess.
