Single sex schools are better for education. For example one sex could get distracted by the other sex and relationships may form causing a disturbance in learning. Many of the Prime ministers went to single sexed schools, e.g. Eton College, and this gives evidence for single sexed schools being more efficient for learning as they are leaders of one of the worlds most economically powerful countries.

Single sex schools aren't better learning enviroments because it would promote to the students the idea that the opposite sex inherently not equal. It would imply that boys and girls shouldn't be taught the same.

My rebuttal towards the idea that mixed-sex schools would produce relationships that would distract students from learning is that single-sex schools aren't immune to the formation of romantic relationships. The reasoning that the formation of romatic relationships in school is a negative thing is also flawed because studnts would never get a convenient chance to react with the other sex to form social skills neccessary for their adult life in single-sex schools.

Well honestly single-sex schools are no different than a school with both genders because you have girls that are interested in girls and guys interested in guys.

I disagree with the pro side. Single sex school are not better for education. Many reasons while people agree with this this statement is because of "male distractions" and so on, but even if you go to a single sex school you can still be distracted by that same sex. If you really want a good education, you won't let anything distract you from that.

Quite simply the answer is "no". As well as providing an education, the purpose of school is to prepare children for adulthood. The interaction of males and females is part of everyday life, therefore both genders should learn how to integrate at an early age. Your second stated example is limited in evidence as there's successful leaders and politicians that did not attend Eton or any other single-sex colleges.
