Video games aren't exactly harming anyone internally. It all depends on the type of people using them. I think that video games are a fun and enjoyable way to pass time when you have nothing else to do. Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that video games are healthy, when you use them right.
As I said before, it all depends on the type of person using it. People who are irresponsible outside of video games and get online per say, don't hurt anyone, maybe emotionally scar, but they WILL NOT physically hurt them. Video games are good for you because they are a fun pastime.
Countering your side of the argument video games are bad for your brain. EVERY FRICKIN SECOND KILLS BRAIN CELLS. I am sure that some people sparingly play these, but most just sit around with no life doing nothing. People think they are immune to the press, the rules, the Laws because they play video games. They get so absorbed in the game that they believe they ARE in the game
Let's make this clear, your performance in life has nothing to do with your video game playing, it has everything to do with your effort you put into the task at hand. Video games hurting you is an excuse people use to substitute their lack of effort. Video games are good for you because they do not physically HARM you. This is a pastime that people, yes, sometimes get addicted to, but it is also something people use to stimulate them in their spare time. What about minecraft, one of the most creativity enabling games on the market? That isn't hurting anybody, that is enhancing a child's life by letting their creativity come out of the floodgates.
Games are creative, but some can be a bit too creative. There are very inappropriate games that promote violence, sex, and murder. Yes, minecraft is a very creative game but what If a Ceeper walks up and explodes someone's creation? This will force them to exert their rage on anything, the games system, the room, even people, yelling PTLS! Closing, video games can be very dangerous
