According to the article found by opening this link, http://www.naag.org......, banning all tobacco products would be beneficial for everyone's health.
1) Nearly all new smokers will start using tobacco before they're 18yrs old and will become addicted before they are mature enough to understand the risks.
2) A significant percentage of those new smokers will die prematurely from tobacco related illnesses.
In conclusion, banning all tobacco products will reduce addiction, illnesses and deaths related to these legal but harmful products.
Yes, smokers will start smoking around 18, but around that age, people know right from wrong. People start smoking tobacco products around that age because it relieves them of their stress and troubles.
Tobacco related illnesses could kill them but who is to say that it will help them?
If we were to ban tobacco products, then that is a heavy use if government action, abuse of power and it does no good if people are harmed for being forces to stop smoking "for their own good." (http://www.medicalnewstoday.com...)
All in all, all tobacco products should NOT be banned, due to it's substances being stress relievers and banning the product would only be seen as a misuse of government action and abuse of power.
At age 18 people do know right from wrong and perhaps know that smoking is "bad" and that they shouldn't do it. Do they still go for that cigarette? YES. They do not understand to what capacity it will harm them. Using tobacco products to relieve stress at such a young age is not the most effective way and definitely not the ONLY way to relieve stress. Just the idea that using tobacco products could kill automatically erases the possibility that it can help someone.
Heavy use of government power does not have to b abusive and it doesn't not have to turn to harming people. The goal is to slowly and progressively do away with the products so that there is minimal damage and forceful action.
Tobacco products should be banned for the health and people own good.
People have used tobacco and gotten addicted to it because it relieves the stress from all the pressures of their daily lives. According to cancer.org nearly 16 million people used tobacco products (I.e. cigars, cigarettes, tobacco in pipes) to relieve stress, to take a break from their pressure (http://m.cancer.org...). Think about it, the 16 million people that have purchased these products have caused tobacco businesses to bolster, banning tobacco would cause many tobacco businesses and agriculture that grow tobacco to collapse and be in a huge downfall. Therefore, I believe tobacco products should NOT be banned due to it bringing a huge increase in business, and it helps out the people and their stress level, even if they know what they are doing is wrong.
Encouraging the use of tobacco products at the expense of someone's health so that "business bolsters" is not fair. The growth of tobacco can be eliminated and other agricultural foods can be produced that can also be good for business. The banning of all tobacco products should be approved and as soon as possible. The health of many people can be saved and deaths due to tobacco illnesses reduced. Agriculture and business can be productive and healthier for the world if tobacco is banned. Stress can be reduced by other things, like massages, exercise, diets, therapy, baths and other things that do not cause illnesses. All tobacco products should be banned.
The banning of Tobacco products should not be approved. Yes, the health of those who have used it will increase, but the safety of others will decrease. If the banning of tobacco products were to happen, that would cause many violent protests to take place, stirring more trouble rather than bringing benefits to society. Yes, tobacco causes pollutants, but it is only a small percentage of tobacco that is polluting our air and causing cancers and other diseases, but the risks of tobacco being the sole cause is very unlikely. The banning of tobacco would cause much trouble within communities, much violence and more uprisings and more illegal activity will be done if the product is banned, due to it's positive contributions to communities, socially and financially, tobacco products should NOT be banned as it has become a main producer of agriculture and a strong foundation in our country.
