Batman does not have a superpower, therefore he is not a superhero
Stebo

Con

Define superhero. When I think of superheroes, I think of a guy doing good for the average person. It does not matter he doesn't have a superhero he is still a boss!

Superhero: a fictional hero having extraordinary or superhuman powers; also : an exceptionally skillful or successful person

Batman lacks superhuman powers.
Stebo

Con

See, a skillful person, such as batman, can be a superhero as you just stated! So you just proved my point.

Superhero: "a fictional hero having extraordinary or superhuman powers; also : an exceptionally skillful or successful person"

As CON stated, Batman falls under this definition. His powers (especially his wealth) is indeed extraordinary, and he is exceptionally skillful and successful in his endeavors.

Batman is indeed a superhero, he may not have the super power but he does have enough skill and awesomeness to beat many different villains. He defeated the joker, the riddler, penguin, bane, mr freeze, two face, the mad hatter, killer croc, poison ivy, cat woman, and in batman begins he defeated all of ra's al ghul, which was a league of assassins. Batman is with no doubt a superhero.

Reasons for voting decision: Even though neither argument was great, Batman is definitely a superhero. The ideal that Batman stands for is that a superhero can be anyone. Superheroes like Superman and Thor destroy this idea because you have to be born with those powers. Tony Stark does not have any superhuman powers, yet people consider him a superhero. Don't even get me started on Aquaman though, he is nowhere near a superhero. My point is if people consider Aquaman a superhero, then Batman is a mega-hero.

Reasons for voting decision: Although I agree with Con in the fact that Batman IS a superhero. His closing statement of 'batman demolishes everything' has nothing to do with the fact that he is a superhero or not. Godzilla demolished crap too, but he aint no superhero.
