Sagey

Pro

Many people are committed to mental health institutions who act on their own hallucinations, because they believed them to be Real.

Yet, Billions of people on Planet Earth believe the Hallucinations of Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Solomon, etc... to be Absolute Truth.
These include: Jews, Christians and Muslims.

This says little about their Sanity!

What do you think?

Con

What do I think? Well, I don’t think all crazy people need to be in a mental institution. Everybody in a sense is crazy because everybody doesn’t believe the same things. And I don’t think we should punish a religious person by sending him to a mental institution when another religious person does folly. Not all religious people are bad, some are good.

If you’re saying that Abraham & the others ever had hallucinations, there is no written account of him or the other people you mentioned having one (certainly none like the ones in mental institution), so I suspect that your claim is without grounds. Or perhaps I’m not understanding what you’re meaning by “hallucination”.

It would appear that my opponent has left, perhaps he knows that I speak the truth. I'll post a closing statement in the next round.

It would appear that sagery's account is no longer active for some reason. I would've liked to debate with him. So I guess no points should be rewarded like Jake said in the comments.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct should go to Con for Pro forfeiting all the rounds. But it seems that Con accepted the "no points to be awarded," he at least didn't challenge it. So I'm giving no points.
