Round 1-Acceptance, Round 2-Cases, Round 3-Rebuttals, Round 4-Defense
I will be attacking Bernie Sanders's views, and why he shouldn't be president.

I accept this debate and I am looking forward to it. Good luck.
Debate Round No. 1

Thank you to my opponent for accepting this debate. In start of my negation of Bernie Sanders, I would like you people to know that I do think Sanders is a nice guy, but I think he would make a very bad president.
Lets start with defining the word president.
The president leads the executive branch of the federal government and is the commander-in-chief of the United States Armed Forces.
the elected head of a republican state.
Bernie Sanders is not a dictator. He does not have full control over the country when he takes it over, which is sad because a lot of his voters think he can do that. But, lets start with the areas he has control over.
Foreign Relations:
Presidents are usually representatives. They were meant to represent a free country, but that would change because Bernie Sanders has other plans. Bernie Sanders is basically an idealist when it comes to foreign policy, and that is not what we need for presidency. Bernie Sanders said this about the Russian invasion of Crimea "Sanders has described Russian President Vladimir Putin as a bully and backed tough economic sanctions to punish Moscow for annexing Ukraine"s Crimea region.

But the senator has also warned against steps that might escalate the conflict.

"The entire world has got to stand up to Putin," he said in 2014.

The picture that emerges is less that of a firebrand antiwar radical than a pragmatic liberal who regards military force as a second choice in almost any situation "" but a choice that sometimes must be made." He is pretty much a person that wants to unite the world against the "bullies". But, how can he do that. He doesn't have the experience to do that. He does not have the experience of negotiating with countries. The only experience he has is helping the people. How can he introduce bills in the house and senate when their controlled by the Republicans. He would be a good charity person, but not a good foreign policy person.

Bernie Sanders views on ISIL. "Sanders opposed Obama"s request for an authorization to use military force against the extremist group also known as ISIL, arguing that it did not set clear-enough limits on the use of U.S. ground troops. The senator has backed air strikes against ISIL but has repeatedly demanded that regional powers like Saudi Arabia take a bigger role in the military campaign.

"I"ll be damned if kids in the state of Vermont "" or taxpayers in the state of Vermont "" have to defend the royal Saudi family, which is worth hundreds of billions of dollars," Sanders said in September 2014." ISIL makes 2 million dollars a day off of oil. We have the number one military in the world. We can take those oil fields and make that money ourselves. All we need is a president with the guts to do it. Bernie Sanders does not want to do it, and wants to leave them alone. That will not help us as a power, and it will lead to a decline in American Imperialism."

Being a Governor:
Congress is usually the people that draft the bills. Presidents usually should be bi-partison when comes to the two parties. Do we really want a person who will just veto anything the other party will have to say?

He will have to pass a lot of bills that could make socialism possible. How is he going to pass those bills when the GOP control the house and senate. He can't do it. He is running on a political revolution when all he will do is lead to more arguing in the house and senate. Socialism won't work in his presidency. Con will have to prove how it will.

In conclusion, Bernie Sanders is running on ignorance. He is ignorant to the fact that the president isn't a king but a representative of the free world. Bernie Sanders can't change that. His job is supposed to be dealing with other countries, and making sure our people get the most benefits. But, he can do that when he believes in idealistic policies just as bringing everybody together to fight Russia. He will not take opportunities to make America more wealthy, and all he will do is regulate those that do make money if he passes those regulations.
