The San Francisco 49ers are not the best. They didn't win the NFC Championship to go to the Super Bowl. Their Free Agency has been nothing more than replacing team losses with players in similar skill sets. The only X Factor would be how well Colin Kaepernick will play next year. If he plays like he did last season, then he may make it to the Super Bowl, but he will most likely lose. One could argue that they are in the top 3. The Seattle Seahawks are currently the best. Their only losses were backups, Chris Clemons, and Golden Tate. Percy Harvin Played 3 games last season, and will be more of an impact than Golden Tate would. Chris Clemons would have been cut anyways, since he is getting older. They also have their entire team without missing games next season. (last season a couple guys on defense were suspended a few games, one of them being a great pass rusher, and three of their offensive line were injured.) If Seattle was the best last year, while dealing with these adversities, only to get much better this year, than San Francisco has some catching up to do.
