Reformist

Pro

I haven't really been finding anything to debate about so I thought id make a fun debate

Pro-Left Wing

Con-Right Wing

Since I am pro I will joking for the liberal side (I will be making fun of the right)

While my opponent will be joking for the conservative side (making fun of the left)

Whoever makes the best jokes shall win

Left wing generally can vary from communism to the modern day democrat.

Right wing generally can vary from libertarians to fascists to modern day republican.

(You don't have to adhere to these rules but this is just for background)

Round 1 ACCEPTANCE ONLY!!!!

Only 1 JOKE PER ROUND. No need for sources however try not to use a joke that can be easily applied to anything. You can but it wouldn't really be funny :)

May the best joker win!
Sunfire315

Con

I shall be launching the quips for the right wing.

1. What do you call a basement full of liberals? A whine cellar.

2. How many democrats does it take to change a light bulb? 5! Al Gore to insure it is a CFL, an EPA agent in case the bulb breaks and a mercury cleanup is necessary, a person to bail out the home owner, an ACORN member to ensure that the right person changed the bulb, and a member of the media to celebrate the change.

3. What do you get if you give a liberal a penny for his thoughts? Change.
Debate Round No. 1
Reformist

Pro

My opponent has violated one of the rules

"Only 1 JOKE PER ROUND"

The voters must take this into account for conduct

Now onto the joke:

How many republicans does it take to screw a lightbulb?

None.....

They'd all rather sit in the dark and blame it on Obama!
Sunfire315

Con

Q: Why do so many Liberals live in L.A.?
A: It"s the only city that is easy enough for them to spell.
Debate Round No. 2
Reformist

Pro

What's the difference between a republican affair and a democrat affair?

The republican one is preceded by a speech about family values
Sunfire315

Con

Sunfire315 forfeited this round.
Debate Round No. 3
Reformist

Pro

That's a forfeit

But I wont make a joke in order to make my opponent be able to recover
Sunfire315

Con

Sunfire315 forfeited this round.
Debate Round No. 4
Sunfire315

Con

How can you tell a Conservative home owner apart from a Democratic home owner? Ask who is paying the Mortgage. The Conservative will point to himself, and the democrat will also point at the conservative

Reformist, it's a joke battle, don't be so tight with the rules. Plus, there are so many jokes to make about liberals that it's impossible to choose the 4 best ones.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct to Pro because Con FF, and also violated one of the rounds. Convincing arguments to Pro because I personally felt his jokes were more funnier, especially in R2, and R3.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct to Pro as Con had not only violated the rules but forfeited twice. I have to give the arguments points to Con due to her having the funnier of the jokes which was displayed in Round 5.
