You're objectively wrong. I accept.

Point I

Blake's 7 is widely recognized as the most revolutionary piece of science fiction television ever, introducing the concepts of seasonal cliffhangers, story arcs, and the first protagonist to be an actual antihero. Meanwhile, osu! is a rhythm game.

Point II

You may listen to music in osu!, but you'll never see or hear anything as glorious as Brian Croucher sharing the stage with people that actually know how to act [1].

osu! is a rhythm game, but it is more than a musical game full of circle jerking weeaboos who spam DT to get as much pp as possible on some TV Size anime opening. It's an art, an art of clicking circles. There are no other games that have implicated the intensity of aim, tap, reading, reaction, accuracy, self-mapping, with quite the same community, all under different songs. No other game is like it.

If I wanted to watch a popular sci-fi show from the 60s and 70s, I could just watch Star Trek.

The use of the words weeaboo and anime, by definition, negates your claims that osu is good. As for your second section, Blake's 7 beats Star Trek in basically every way. According to George Takei, Blake's 7 had better dialogue [1]. Blake's 7 also has a better theme [1] [2]. I bring this up since music is clearly important to CON.

Finding videos for the theme, I found plenty of comments about the show, many of which stated that Star Trek was more enjoyable. It was a show that arose about 12 years after Star Trek, and after Star Wars, as it was a clear "bandwagon jump" with a low budget cast. A show that cost open space in the hangouts at the feet of trolls is obviously trash.

I once had a theory because of this debate that Seventh and Bossy were actually the same person, but then I realized that even seventh is leagues ahead in intelligence over Bossy ;3

Example? Okay, um, ogres are like onions. They stink? Yes - - No! They make you cry?
No! You leave them in the sun, they get all brown, start sproutin' little white
hairs. No! Layers! Onions have layers. Ogres have layers! Onions have layers. You
get it? We both have layers. Oh, you both have layers. Oh. You know, not everybody likes onions. Cake! Everybody loves cakes! Cakes have layers. I don't care... what everyone likes. Ogres are not like cakes. You know what else everybody likes? Parfaits. Have you ever met a person, you say, "Let's get some parfait," they say, "Hell no, I don't like no parfait"? Parfaits are delicious. No! You dense, irritating, miniature beast of burden! Ogres are like onions! End of story. Bye-bye. See ya later.

A well written antihero is very rare, and I would argue the first one on television was Avon. Keep in mind this is a show from the 70s.

Antiheros aren't that amazing or rare actually. Two off the top of my head are Harley Quinn and Deadpool.

Reasons for voting decision: Full RFD here: http://www.debate.org/forums/miscellaneous/topic/95141/ Pro's R1 argument regarding the revolutionary nature of B7 "introducing the concepts of seasonal cliffhangers, story arcs, and the first protagonist to be an actual antihero.", had the greatest impact in this debate and wasn't refuted. Con did a decent job with the Star Trek argument, and making the case that osu is unique and fun, but it wasn't enough to overcome ignoring the above argument entirely.

Reasons for voting decision: According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Ooh, black and yellow! Let's shake it up a little. Barry! Breakfast is ready!
