Con

I prefer Boeing because it is more experienced in making large, safe planes.
xPrtN00bSn1p3r

Pro

Being more experienced is irrelevant. Additionally this resolution is merely one vs the other, I merely have to uphold the conflict between the two corporations to win.

I support the conflict as competition is necessary between corporations in the same field, any exception would be a cartel.

Con

Boeing made a lot of famous planes......
Boeing 707, 737, 747, 777, 787......
I buy Boeing models only.
xPrtN00bSn1p3r

Pro

Airbus made even more famous planes: http://www.arabiansupplychain.com...
A320, A350, A330, A321, A319, A380.

Boeing 747 isn't even famous, neither is the 707.

Anyway, I am supporting the competition between the companies as it breeds excellence in their products, otherwise a cartel or monopoly would form.

Con

Are you crazy?? Airbus definitely is not the best manufacturers.
747 is famous, a320& a350 aren't.
xPrtN00bSn1p3r

Pro

My source suggests otherwise and also I am only proposing the competition between them 'Boeing vs Airbus' I support both vsing the other and uphold this resolution you have yet to explain why it's bad.

In addition, you have no source while I have one.

Con

You may think that I am making it up. Now I'm at school, can't show the book, author. But, honestly, I'm not making it up please.

Pro

Con has failed to show why boeing vs airbus is bad or false, the resolution is upheld.

1 point to Con (Conduct). Reasons for voting decision: Con failed with the BoP

[*Reason for removal*] (1) The voter does not explain sources. (2) The voter insufficiently explains arguments. Merely saying that one side "failed with the BoP" doesn't explain why they failed, what the BoP was, why it mattered, and why Pro succeeded in carrying their BoP.

Reasons for voting decision: I work for Boeing and this was a hot mess. An argument can easily be made that Boeing has lost the historical technology and service advantage on the latest generation of plane. However the argument centered around "more famous". I can only give a source point to con for using one. This was awful.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct - Tie. Both had adequate conduct throughout. S&G - Tie. Both had adequate spelling and grammar throughout. Arguments - Pro. Con had the burden as instigator to show why/how Boeing was better than Airbus. Unfortunately, Con presented no supporting evidence for his claims, and as Pro rightfully pointed out - he needed to present evidence or else his claims are nothing more than opinions. On the other hand, Pro presented a source which verified that Airbus planes are more popular. Con then acknowledged that he was at school and couldn't provide any evidence, thus effectively failing to uphold his BOP. Due to this, Pro wins arguments. Sources - Pro. Con failed to utilize any sources in this debate, whereas Pro utilized at-least one which both assisted in strengthening his case and providing the necessary supporting evidence for his counter-claim. Thus, Pro wins these points.
