As a Brazilian citizen I would like to challenge anyone who is willing to debate the financial status of the Brazilian Nation.

My opinion is that the government is corrupt and economically negligent. Any opponent must have a different opinion.

Brazil is a founding member of the recently created BRICS banking system. This new centralized banking cartel will lead to the inevitable fall of the American dollar as the world
Reserve currency. Within 10 years Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRICS) will be the leading world economies. Things can only improve in the long term for Brazil.

As for the well documented and rampant government corruption is concerned, this will only continue until revolution happens. Wether it be social revolution, economic revolution, or civil war, revolution is the only way to force real social and cultural change. History shows tyranny almost always leads to revolution.

The sooner Brazil fixes its economy the sooner it can stop killing the Amazon and invest in conservation

The present dire situation in Brazil is widely accepted as fact. The Pro Debator clearly is looking for reassurance.

Con argues that the Future of Brazil looks good but ignores the fact that the resolution and hence the debate is about the present.
