Recent studies show that breakfast is the most essential meal a person should eat. The definition of breakfast for this debate is a morning meal or the meal a person eats after they wake up before doing daily activities. This debate will last five rounds. Thank you hope to hear a reply soon.

Thank You for accepting my debate. I will first show why breakfast is the most essential meal compared to dinner and lunch.

First of all when you wake up in the morning your body has just regenerated itself through stage 3 and 4 sleep. Eating a healthy breakfast with protein and whole grains further helps to regenerate and recharge your body to get ready for the day. Like all meals, foods with high concentration of sugar and fats should be avoided unless excessive amounts of physical activity will happen during ones day. Sugars are still a necessary parts of ones diet though.

Facts on how Breakfast is beneficial:
Like I referenced above after your body has rejuvenated from sleep it is essential to get glucose or sugar into your system. Your brain relies on glucose and helps it stay focused and awake. Not eating breakfast in the morning can keep your brain from functioning perfectly. Obviously your brain controls everything. Everything being the Central nervous system to the Peripheral nervous system.

Essentially speaking Not eating breakfast is like starting your car up in the morning without gas. You need the fuel to allow your body to function properly all day. Dinner and lunch are reserve meals. Lunch is needed for the extra energy one may need to exert energy throughout the day and dinner is needed to help shut the brain down so it can rejuvenate itself through sleep. This is why breakfast is the most essential meal. If you skip it Lunch takes over the role as getting your ready for the day and dinner is used to give someone extra energy. Therefore not being able to sleep. Sleep is essential for a healthy being because it regenerates natural chemicals i the body which produce white blood cells.

America in the last couple of decades has been suffering overwhelmingly with heart disease and especially diabetes witch is creating a huge health epidemic. Eating Breakfast alone can apparently prevent both of these.

Being or feeling Hungary means needing energy. If One eats a good breakfast in the morning chances are they are not going to need as much energy all day which results in not over eating which is very beneficial to long term health. Americans in general tend to skip breakfast which is a major reason why were facing this huge obesity epidemic today.

Eating breakfast is also linked to weight loss as well as maintaining this weight loss. four out of five people who have successfully lost weight and kept it off eat breakfast every day. (U.S. National Weight Control Registry)

Clearly this helps with the issue of obesity and heart disease as well. As you can see breakfast is the most essential meal and might just be the answer to the United States obesity epidemic.
