ummm idk what "like pic like someone when i said the pic" means sounds like terrible english lol but yea. i will further on with the debate after my opponent replys back so just for now. some of lee's feats
Here are some of Bruce's truly amazing real life feats, which I consider to be absolutely outstanding. All of this information is taken from various documentaries and magazines. There's also some quotes from his closest friends. A few of Bruce's awesome feats: Bruce's striking speed from 3 feet away was five hundredths of a second. Bruce could throw grains of rice up into the air and then catch them in mid-flight using chopsticks. Bruce did press ups using only 2 fingers. Bruce could thrust his fingers through unopened cans of Coca-Cola. (This was when soft drinks cans were made of steel much thicker than today's aluminium cans) Bruce was able to explode 100lb bags with a simple sidekick. Bruce would ride for 45 minutes (10 Miles) on a stationary bike, when he'd finished, a huge pool of sweat was beneath him. Bruce once caved in a protective headgear made from heavy steel rods, rods that had previously withstood several blows from a sledgehammer. Bruce's last movie "Enter the Dragon" was made for a modest $600,000 in 1973. To date, is has grossed over $300,000,000. http://www.bruceleedivinewind.com... We've all heard the name of Bruce Lee, considered to be the greatest Martial Artist of our time, father of Martial Arts Action Movies, Jeet Kune Do, and even the godfather of MMA (Mixed martial Arts eg, UFC). His iconic skill and charisma shot him to stardom in a few short years only for him to unfortunately pass on before the height of his fame could be realised. But even today, his following is and has never been stronger, for not only Martial Artists but anyone wanting some motivation. Sure, Bruce is always going to be known for his lightning fast punches, and skill in fighting, but how many are aware of the physical strength this man possesed? Many who knew him have been quoted as saying he was pound for pound, one of the strongest men alive. Bruce was always as avid weightlifter, studying bodybuilding but adapting to enhance his martial arts to not only preserve but develop his speed and power in his strikes, opting for muscular strength, not size. Along the way Bruce became a man of many physical feats, some unmatched. At 24, he was able to perform 8 reps of bicep curls at a weight of 70 to 80 lb (about 32 to 36 kg) for 3 sets. Lee could hold a 75 lb barbell at arms length from a standing position, horizontally, in front of his chest, for 20 seconds. it has been said that he performed pushups with upto 125lb of weight on his back. These are impressive feats for any man to accomplish, but what made a shocking difference? Bruce weighed only 130lb (59kg)! This shocking strength coupled with light weight made it possbile for him to develop great strength in one arm chin ups, performing up to 50 reps consequetively. One arm pushups off his finger and thumb. And gave him enough speed to perform some truly amazing punches and kicks, too fast for 24fps film cameras to effectively capture! One of Bruce's favourite tricks was to snatch a dime from a person's palm and replace it with a penny, before they could close their hand. Such great speed and accuracy is demonstrated also by his ability to throw grains of rice into the air and catch them with chop sticks, in mid-flight. http://wademcmaster.hubpages.com... Bruce Lee is dead; http://en.wikipedia.org... Chuck Norris is still alive; http://en.wikipedia.org... All your argument fails unless you can prove a dead body can win in a fight and that Bruce Lee is still alive. |

VOTE PRO. yea
that is the most ridiculous response ever we all know that Bruce lees dead what sense does it make to say that a dead guy can defeated a living guy. nobody in there right mind would say that. use your common sense man. i didn't say dead Bruce lee or zombie lee like be for real this is debate.org. debate! since u didn't put anything to back up your argument you just wasted a round and i am winning so far Thanks to Pro for his response. Pro's grammatically incoherent response above is a bit hard to make out, but since I'm very consummate at things such as being able to know what they are generally saying even though it is crippled with massive failure, I can address it. Pro concedes his entire argument by agreeing that Bruce Lee is dead. As is entailed from his resolution; Bruce Lee can Defeat Chuck Norris. Of course since Bruce Lee is dead, this can never hold true. Thank you. |

Reasons for voting decision: Fvck this semantic bullsh!t. Carslile's contention was very clear and emo waited until round 2 to throw his semantic 'ace in the hole' out, rather than argue about definitions in the first round as is general practise. This was obviously lazy and the kind of thing that dissuades people from staying on our site. For shame! You got S&G though emo, because Pro's was atrocious.
