No, he can not be considered a superhero because he doesn't have ant superhuman capabilities. He's simply a wealthy person who uses his fortune to make technology to make up for his lack of super powers.

Superhero - ahero,especiallyinchildren'scomicbooksandtelevision cartoons,possessingextraordinary, oftenmagicalpowers.
As we can see, Batman is indeed a hero from children's comic books and television cartoons. However, my opponent says Batman has no "extraordinary" powers. But he does. Batman is one of the best detective minds in the world, has a keen even photographic memory and an extreme mastery of martial arts. Batman is also a genius which is an extraordinary showing of mental power. All of these things together give Batman abilities that far outstrip average people making him superhuman. Add superhuman to the other parts of the definition above and we get a Superhero.

Don't beat yourself up. Trying to quantify a comic-book hero is like trying to divide something by zero. One minute they could be beating up superman with no problem, but the next day they get their @ss handed to them by a few street thugs.

He IS a super-hero

He IS NOT a super-human.

A super-hero is a hero that is more spectacular than average heroes (i.e. the fireman who saves the kitten from the tree).

A super-human is someone who has abilities that far exceed what a human should be capable of. In my experience with Batman debates, Batman is peak-human (maybe slightly more) and has some super-human response/reaction times at best. You might be able to argue that he has super-human martial arts capabilities (He is a master of 126 I think) when you couple his mastery and reaction times together.

I apologize... for some reason my definition was all mashed up.

This is what its supposed to look like.

a hero, especially in children's comic books and television cartoons, possessing extraordinary, often magical powers.
