I think computer can never play the role of a teacher in a student's life. If there were only computers and no humans, the interaction between a student and a teacher is totally lost. Moreover, computers are already organised and may not understand most of the doubts

"If there were only computers and no humans, the interaction between a student and a teacher is totally lost"
First, false dichotomy. The resolution is about the replacement of physical classrooms with computing, presumably in the manner of online education currently practiced. There would thus be humans, including teachers, involved, they just wouldn't be face-to-face (perhaps they'd interact via an instant messenger program, email, forums, etc.) The end of course is not interaction but learning, but in any case, any interaction needed to achieve that end is available.

"Moreover, computers are already organised and may not understand most of the doubts"
The resolution involves replacing physical meetings in classrooms with computer-based meetings, not replacing teachers with artificial intelligence programs.

It really is a simple matter. Every essential question the student may have, every lecture the teacher may wish to give, every bit of discussion, etc, is achievable from miles apart with the present technology, saving transportation costs, campus housing costs, etc. And you won't have to listen to their droning voice if they have one, which means fewer students fall asleep. Granted, teachers will be unable to whack students with rulers and whatnot, but most of the ones that need it don't learn much anyway. And though it is desirable in many cases, that's not even necessary for me to demonstrate! All I have to prove is that it is possible, that it "Can!" Seen here:

it happens. People replace classroom teaching with online education ("e-education" per the resolution" at significant rates these days (look at the graph two-thirds down the page) especially at large, respected institutions. If it is done, it can be done; it is done; therefore, it can be, Q.E.D Modus Ponens.

Forfeits are not fantastic. In fact, they are rather useless methods of argumentation, as they fail to establish anything.

It really doesn't appear any content is needed in this field, as I am not being debated. Therefore, goodbye content!

This is the third debate in a row that looked interesting, but was forfeited. Frustrating, I shall now commence with the gnashing of the teeth and the pulling of the hair, or at least the generally being mildly irritated. :D

depends on the age and maturity level of the student. Many Colleges offer some/most of their classes online. This is fine for a self motivated student who doesn't need individual face to face instruction. No way I'd advocate it for any level below College, however.
