Is it beneficial for us to replace human Teachers with mechanical teacher?
Emilrose

Con

Accepted.

Unfortunately, Pro made a pretty noticable error in the resolution. Human teachers can indeed be replaced by fellow human teachers (meaning that other qualified teachers can replace their job position), but according to the rest of what Pro states, this isn't what is being proposed.

Rather, Pro is asserting that human teachers can be replaced by mechanical (robot) teachers, but doesn't provide any argument in support of this.

Given how important teaching actually is across various educational fields (whether it be in kindergarten or university), it would seem a logical conclusion that those who are best equipped to do this job, are in fact human beings. Not only does teaching entail academic ability/knowledge, it also involves discipline; something that a robot is highly unlikely to be able to provide. In the case of pre-school, elementary and high-school students, there also has to be some emotional safeguarding--I.E, teachers need to have the ability to recognise bullying, and/or emotional problems within children, as well as any potential learning disorders or special needs that students may have.

Naturally, these are things that a robot, would not be able to oversee.

Given the mistake in the resolution and the fact no arguments were made by Pro, I suggest voters vote CON.
