Finding a life time partner is one of the many critical goals in life. It is an act of making a life time decision. Generally, minors are considered na"ve, non-discernment enough to make life time decisions. They are by and large legally, economically and socially not at par with adults. Most countries have even made laws to curtail the adult to take advantage of their naivety to ruin and or lure them into things they are not ready for. In the partners" quest to assess their suitability, they may end up hanging up in places like the casinos, beaches, gambling den and the likes. But most of these places are no-go areas for the minor. You should be able to assess your partner in all the facets and here you are you restricted. How do you know your partner in those areas of restriction? Though it is religiously and even some countries not acceptable to have sex when dating but we can"t check on all partners that it is followed. The sex and reproductive organs especially with the female have not been fully developed to contain the pressure during sexing and when pregnancy emerges.

I will be arguing the Pro for this debate, as a minor myself, it is not only my opinion that Minors should be able to have the choice to date, I also believe that it is helpful to their development into adulthood. My point are:

1. Dating is not always a life time choice, many adults date for fun and never really commit. Even some adults are completely irresponsible in relationships and do things like cheat and or just plain screw around with whoever they meet on a daily basis. This leads in to my second point:

2. Many teens should learn how to handle relationships outside their friends and family to be able to handle them as adults.
Before you learn how to drive, you usually get a permit to drive with a parent or guardian until they can learn to drive a car, dating as a minor is like this in a sense, if minors never learn to handle relationships they will be pushed straight into it as an adult and won't be able to have someone to advise them through out it because they aren't their parents problem anymore and thats the case a lot of the time. Many people who were foreboded to date as teens say they feel as if they were "Socially stunted" and many don't have much of clue of how to deal with a relationship thats why its very helpful to their development as a person because It helps develop their communication skills, how to learn what appropriate affection is.[1]

3. The laws in place that don't allow adults to take advantage of teens are for adults, but even other teens can "lure" their peers into doing things they aren't ready for even when they aren't in a relationship. Teens are surrounded by pressure from everything and it is a learning experience for them whether they deny this pressure or except it and sometimes it won't be good, but creating laws about dating or what teens can and can do, making murder illegal doesn't make it stop, it will keep happening whether people like it or not.

4. As for knowing your partners in all the facets, are you talking about sex? Or getting know them as a person. As far as relationships go, sex is less important than the how the person is. You don't need sex to get to know someone, and while intercourse tends to make you feel closer, in the end it is far less irrelevant when it comes to a potential life partner. But if you are speaking of getting to know someone in the sense of having a relationship together,I don't see how there can be restrictions, other than just maybe not having time in-between school and extracurricular activities, which is just like the problems adults have with work and not having much time for another person.

5. And your last statement that "The sex and reproductive organs especially with the female have not been fully developed to contain the pressure during sexing and when pregnancy emerges" I'm not sure what this is totally all suppose to mean, but having a period is an indicator that the body is ready for birth which means everything is developed, and while that may not mean your mind is ready, it means that biologically, yes you are developed, actually you develop your sexual organs in the womb at week 9 in pregnancy.
