Pro

I will open with an argument showing the underlying semantics of this debate.

Can: be physically or mentally able to [1].

In answer to the resolution: yes, this work can be considered metaphysical. "Can" refers to the ability. The ability is certainly there. Much like you can consider the weather to be sunny, or you can consider the dogs you are watching to be human. "Can" leaves all of the possibilities present since we are debating about what can be considered.

1) Can refers to being "mentally able to"
2) We can consider something to be anything as we are mentally able to do so
C) Therefore, this work can be considered metaphysical

The resolution is affirmed.

This is a resolution is phrased like question, which may result in you having a hard time finding a legit debater to take this. Also it requires them to read the whole thing essentially.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct - Pro. Con forfeited nearly every round of this debate. S&G - Pro. Con failed to use proper grammar, which can be seen in the lack of a question mark at the end of his sentence. Pro had no such errors. Arguments - Pro. Con failed to present any case whatsoever against Pro. Since Pro was left standing unchallenged, Pro wins arguments. Sources - Pro. Con failed to utilize any sources aside from a reference to the material in question. Pro utilized a source for validating a definition. I view this in favor of Pro, although it might be up for debate within itself, lol. Ultimately, this is a clear win for Pro.
