Good evening. I would like to thank the pro, Finite_Chaotic, for opening this debate. I am a theist, protestant Christian to be exact. I won't be arguing that we can know one hundred percent God exists. Nothing can be one hundred percent proven. For example, you could not prove to me one hundred percent that you exist, even if you were to come and meet me in person. For all I know, you could be a figment of my imagination. Human beings know know things to be true after looking at evidence for something. For example, you could give me enough evidence to convince me that you exist. If we were to meet in person, the likelihood of you being a figment of my imagination would be incredibly small. I would therefore ignore that possibility because it is less likely than you existing. I will attempt to do the same with God. Despite not being able to prove his existence one hundred percent, we may be able to reason his existence from evidence. I hope this stance fits within the topic of this debate. Good luck to the con!
