The claim that cannabis use kills brain cells is a myth.
I don't disagree. And chronic use of marijuana causes temporary cognitive speed impairment. As with all drugs, there are most likely tremendous side effects. On the spectrum it is thought that marijuana in on the lower end. But that's not my argument. My argument is whether there is research that it causes brain cell loss. I contend that no such proof exists.
I understand. It's a tough one to prove.
I need to made a retraction that your first argument was all agreeable. A new study by Harvard Medical School (just 2 days ago) has debunked that cannabis causes schizophrenia.
