Hello! This is an open debate in which I will be arguing for the ultimate benefit of change. There will be 4 rounds each. Good Luck.

The greater good of what? How are you defining the greater good? Change of anything specific or change as a force of dynamic movement in the universe? Your terms are exceedingly generalized.
Based on the limited information at this time I will present a limited thesis:

Change is neither inherently good or bad, it is simply a process by which energy and matter move from one state to another. Assigning a moral value to a basic function of physics makes as much sense as saying that gravity or a supernova are good.
If however you refer to other forms of change such as changing one's mind, well that can only be evaluated on a case by case basis...but to make the generalization that change is ultimately good can only be justified if you can believe that existence can occur without change. It cannot so the entire premise is totally invalid unless you can justify this form of existence as being definitively superior to it's alternate which we cannot as changing beings do without resorting to guesswork and thought experiments...which are ultimately pointless since change IS in much the way that I am and Elvis isn't.

There is change and adaption. An adaption may lead to new changes. Not good. Not bad by nature. Just life.

This debate has too vague a resolution, there are both good and bad changes. Perhaps specify it to a change that occured recently?

Change to what extent, exactly? Furthermore, in what way: political, economic, technological? The list goes on.

Depending on what sort of "change" you're referring to, and how general, I may be very interested in debating this with you.
