In our society, there are people who used the name of charity to let you 'donate'. The money is not for charity, but for themselves.

I am against these people mainly because I think they denounce the Charities. There are really many charities who need help out there, but these people just use the name for their personal advantage. There should be something done to stop these people from denouncing those charities who really need help from citizens like us.

Pro

Well this debate is pointless lol, since you did not clarify it. I thought I was taking pro as to show that it actually happens.

Pro

Con has neither clarified nor shown that this does not happen.

We see this happen all the time with people posing as charities such as the red cross and church related things. People get arrested for this on a daily basis as well, and it is also extremely illegal. Due to FF i take it that con concedes

Shouldn't the resolution be what is to be done about it, or are you merely trying to prove/deny the existence of such scams?

I'm kinda confused here, are you con because you're saying these scams don't exist, or because you don't like such scams (or scams in general)?
