Cheerleading is not a sport. There is High School Cheer and Competitive Cheer. They require very little athletic ability. You may state that you need to be strong to lift someone, but technically you don't. Not all cheerleaders lift other people. You do have to be flexible to do lets say a back handspring and etc. but anyone can do one with practice. The activity is too underdeveloped and disorganized.

Con

Cheer leading is a sport. There's competitive cheer leading [1] and even Doctors are saying it should be considered a sport [2]. It's group gymnastics, and gymnastics is even in the olympics! [3].

Obviously, cheer leading is a sport.

Reasons for voting decision: Cheerleading definitely is a sport, as shown by Con. Don't really know how Pro planned to debate this one... Other than that the forfeits kind of did it in for him.
