Once in the past America tried child labor. How did that end up? Many children died, many more were tortured and basically forced into slavery. Do you want that again?

Pro

Child Labor has been a very terrible and sometimes even terrible experiences including hundreds of deaths. Although, these faculties occurred due to the fact that there was no restrictions or safety implemented into the child's average work day. Although, if you implement safety standards and are friendly and nice to the child many positives can occur from child labor. It could also potentially be the key to putting the USA in a much better economic position while providing the child with four incredibly amazing opportunities for him/herself, especially if part of a lower Income Family.
1 Children can contribute to family income
2 Poor children can work to pay tuition fees
3 Owners can reduce the cost of production
4 Children gain experienc

Con

First of all, what is experienc? Next, child labor will make many children live lives that they don't intend to live. Parents will force their children into labor just because they live in poverty and need the money to survive. These children will not receive an education and as may not even survive from working in poor conditions before they are adequate to work. Sending a child, lets say 8 years old, into a factory to work, they may develop health issues that could hurt them for the entirety of their lives. Also, in the future these children will have problems getting jobs as they don't have an education because they were working for low wages for their entire childhood. Child labor was intended to benefit in the past, how did that end?

Reasons for voting decision: The thing is Child labor was 100 years ago and the living conditions were terrible and many children died but its 2014 and the technology grew same with the care of children I believed in Con before the debate but after it changed to Pro. A little extra cash for kids won't hurt. Pro was a better conduct and made better arguments i tied them up for grammar and spelling and the sources they used

Reasons for voting decision: Pro opened with an unpopular argument, yet it was well argued. Pro predicted that his/her opponent would likely respond with arguments pertaining to danger, and thus argued that greater safety standards could be set in place, to ensure child safety. Pro also gave 4 good reasons as to how child labour could help an economy. Con responded with some safety issues, which Pro already argued against. However, the parents forcing children into labour, especially if they are in poverty, was an excellent rebuttal, which made a lot of sense. Also, the time it takes to maintain a job, would make kids lose out on education time, to some degree. I think Con adequately countered, but not easily, or by a landslide. Conduct to Con for Pro forfeiting first.
