When young people are introduced to technology it changes everything. Giving them an all access pass to the internet is unwise. These children can come across things such as porn and many other scarring substances. Leting the kids have technology at such a young age can and will form an addichtion to these things causeing many bad side effects. Some of these would include things such as poor social skills, bad eye sight form the sree, and more. That is why children and young teens should not have access to technology and the internet.
OK... this is a little unfair. Imagine having a cousin that lives in california (like me) but you live all the way across the country from him. But when I was younger, we had great connection from the internet. The internet can engage people, so they don't have to get up... Oh I don't mean lazy people... I mean they don't have to get up and spend $1,000 to get a plane ride to Mississippi to see a long lost friend that you met over instagram. Limiting children from social media can limit them from being social towards other people from other places. Also, the internet can allow children to connect with friends though text, email, facetime, oovoo, etc. Taking away tech from children is like taking away the "cool new thing," it's like taking away a part of their generation. Tech is a great way to contact with friends, family, and strangers, and it is important to this generation.
I think that when children and young teens have open access to the internet, it can encourage social interacting through text, face time, emails, etc. I also believe that being the pro agents this is hard, because, really, this is an obvious question. It is YES because it takes away the 21'st century from children trying to get access to the internet. It also cuts off learning and educational apps, to help provide better education, and children can get sucked into tech, and become "addicted" to it, and having them play educational games can be educational, but at the same time fun.
