Children cannot be our future, because by the time the future comes they will no longer be children! They will be adults! Therefore, children are not our future.

My opponent was very clever in this debate. He lured me into a debate that I thought would be a easy win. But I will still try to argue with him.

My opponent stated, "Children cannot be our future, because by the time the future comes they will no longer be children! They will be adults! Therefore, children are not our future."

This could be viewed in a different manner, Some could think that My opponent is talking about adults who act like children, Which would mean that children are our future.

Thus my opponents entire argument is refuted.

Reasons for voting decision: Those ridiculous semantic tricks don't work. Neither individual out up an argument against the fair version of that resolution. Conduct to con for pro's behavior.
