If children are bound to cook only healthy food, we would bar their creativity and would stop innovative ideas. Which we may not be able to enjoy.

"only healthy food"

Healthy food is not as much a monstrosity as bad health is in our children. There are many foods that are many times better than the consistent garbage seen on television and in most of our kitchens now. Different sprouts, cereal products, meats, corn flakes, graham crackers, granola, apple cider vinegar, shredded wheat, fish, herbal extracts, honeys, malts, molasses, certain oils, yogurts, chickens, smart snacks, salads and many, many more can be made into numerous delicious combinations with healthy seasonings and uplifting sauces. Besides, healthy foods are on almost every other cooking show, even the ones with some desserts at the end (but not the ones about desserts).

"bar their creativity"

What? This is far fetched from having a child promote health and learn to make a five star salad as an appetizer. They will learn to branch out from chips and dough to professional, real-life, and practical meals. From the talents that got them to where they are, these kids can learn to be real chefs making great food for the body, as well as the mouth. If "bound" to these natural and tasty options, could they not learn to be better cooks?

"stop innovative ideas"

Limiting children to any set of foods could only magnificently increase their optimism and innovation. But this, limiting them to a set of foods that is beneficial to the nation"s health and the worlds economy (though "economy" is not a part of this, just saying) could increase the benefit incredibly. Also, this would not "stop" the innovative ideas of our children! This would explore and revive their courage and credibility and it would invite and consume viewers and aspiring little chefs.

"we may not be able to enjoy"

Do you tune into a children"s cooking show to see children cooking? Or do you tune in to see unhealthy food cooked? What these children cook should not affect the viewer drastically if the basic premise (appetizer, entree, and dessert) is not skewed. I would enjoy watching children cook healthy foods even more than I do as they cook unhealthy foods! Wouldn't you?

Limiting children to healthy foods would increase their skills and help them flourish. They would learn more to make food from healthy items in the home and less to eat cookies, chips, and other unhealthy food items.
