Christians, Why do you Slander Muhammad? Do you know who he was?
He preached a religion, founded a state, built a nation, laid down a moral code, initiated numerous social and political reforms.
He established a powerful and dynamic society to practice and represent his teachings and completely revolutionized the worlds of human thought and behaviour for all times to come.
YES! HE IS MUHAMMED
(May Peace of God Be Upon Him (pbuh)
He was born in Arabia in the year 570, started his mission of preaching the religion of Truth, Islam (submission to One God) at the age of forty and departed from this world at the age of sixty-three.
During this short period of 23 years of his Prophethood, he changed the complete Arabian Peninsula
From paganism and idolatry to SUMISSION to The God.
From tribal quarrels and wars to national solidarity and cohesion.
From drunkenness and debauchery to sobriety and piety.
From lawlessness and anarchy to disciplined living.
From utter bankruptcy to the highest standards of moral excellence.
Human history has never known such a complete transformation of a society or a place before or since " and
IMAGINE all these unbelievable wonders in JUST OVER TWO DECADES.
MICHAEL H. HART in his book on Ratings of Men
He ranked Mohammed first in the list, who contributed towards the benefit and uplift of mankind: "My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels."
(M.H. Hart, THE 100: A RANKING OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS IN HISTORY, New York, 1978, p. 33)
LA-MARTINE, the renowned historian, speaking on the essentials of human greatness wonders"
"If greatness of purpose, smallness of means and astounding results are the three criteria of human genius, who could dare to compare any great man in modern history with Muhammad?"
The most famous men created arms, laws and empires only. They founded, if anything at all, no more than material powers which often crumbled away before their eyes.
This man moved not only armies, legislation, empires, peoples and dynasties, but millions of men in one-third of the then inhabited world; and more than that, he moved the altars, the gods, the religions, the ideas, the beliefs and souls".
His forbearance in victory, his ambition, which was entirely devoted to one idea and in no manner striving for an empire;
His endless prayers, his mystic conversations with God, his death and his triumph after death;"
All these attest not to an imposture but to a firm conviction which gave him the power to restore a dogma.
This dogma was two-fold, the unity of God and the immateriality of God; the former telling what God is, the latter telling what God is not; the one overthrowing false gods with the sword, the other starting an idea with the words.
"Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational dogmas, of a cult without images,
The founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire, that is MUHAMMAD."
As regards all the standards by which Human Greatness may be measured, we may well ask,
IS THERE ANY MAN GREATER THAN HE?"
(Alphonse de Lamartine, HISTOIRE DE LA TURQUIE, Paris, 1854, Vol. II, pp 276-277)
The world has had its share of great personalities. But these were one-sided figures who distinguished themselves in but one or two fields, such as religious thought or military leadership."
The lives and teachings of these great personalities of the world are shrouded in the mist of time."
There is so much speculation about the time and place of their birth, the mode and style of their life, the nature and detail of their teachings and the degree and measure of their success or failure that it is impossible for humanity to reconstruct accurately the lives and teachings of these men."
DIVAN CHANDRA SHARMA wrote:
"Muhammad was the soul of kindness and his influence was felt and never forgotten by those around him." (D.C. Sharma, THE PROPHETS OF THE EAST, Calcutta, 1935, pp. 12)
The famous Poetess if India: SAROJINI NAIDU says
"It was the first religion that preached and practiced democracy; for, in the mosque, when the call for prayer is sounded and worshippers are gathered together, the democracy of Islam is embodied five times a day when the peasant and king kneel side by side and proclaim: 'God Alone is Great'..."
I have been struck over and over again by this indivisible unity of Islam that makes man instinctively a brother" (S.Naidu, IDEALS OF ISLAM, vide Speeches & Writings, Madras, 1918, p. 169)
In the words of PROF. HURGRONJE
"The league of nations founded by the prophet of Islam put the principle of international unity and human brotherhood on such universal foundations as to show candle to other nations."
He continues: "The fact is that no nation of the world can show a parallel to what Islam has done towards the realization of the idea of the League of Nations."
The world has not hesitated to raise to divinity, individuals whose lives and missions have been lost in legend. Historically speaking, none of these legends achieved even a fraction of what Muhammad (pbuh) accomplished. And all his striving was for the sole purpose of uniting mankind for the worship of One God on the codes of moral excellence.
Muhammad (pbuh) or his followers never at any time claimed that he was a Son of God or the God-incarnate or a man with divinity " but he always was and is even today considered as only a Messenger chosen by God.
Today after a lapse of fourteen centuries, the life and teachings of MUHAMMAD (pbuh) have survived without the slightest loss, alteration or interpolation. They offer the same undying hope for treating mankind's many ills, which they did when he was alive.
This is not a claim of Muhammad's (pbuh) followers but also the inescapable conclusion forced upon by a critical and unbiased history.
Not so this man. Muhammad (peace be up on him) accomplished so much in such diverse fields of human thought and behaviour in the fullest blaze of human history.
Every detail of his private life and public utterances has been accurately documented and faithfully preserved to our day. The authenticities of the record so preserved are vouched for not only by the faithful followers but also even by his prejudiced critics.
Muhammad (pbuh) was a teacher, a social reformer, a moral guide, an administrative colossus, a faithful friend, a wonderful companion, a devoted husband, a loving father " all in one.
No other man in history ever excelled or equalled him in any of these different aspects of life " but it was only for the selfless personality of Muhammad (pbuh) to achieve such incredible perfections.
MAHATMA GANDHI " Speaking on the character of Muhammad, (pbuh) says in YOUNG INDIA:
"I wanted to know the best of one who holds today's undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind..
I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life .
THOMAS CARLYLE in his HEROES AND HEROWORSHIP was simply amazed as to:
It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to this friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life."
1. "How one man single-handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades."
2. "The lies (Western slander) which well-meaning zeal has heaped round this man (Muhammad) are disgraceful to our selves only."
3. "A silent great soul, one of that who cannot but be earnest. He was to kindle the world; the world's Maker had ordered so."
Ex-Kaiser of Germany, who on the occasion of his 70th Birthday Celebration at Doorm, Holland warned the world in clear terms, stating:
And understand this for a certainty " if ever the Mohammedans should conceive the idea that it is Allah's command to bring order into declining West and subjugate to His Will, then " with Faith in Allah " they will come upon the godless Europeans like a tidal wave, against which even the Reddest Bolshevists, full of eagerness for combat will be helpless.

The least YOU could do as thinking and concerned human being is to stop for a moment and ask yourself: Could these statements sounding so extraordinary and revolutionary be really true?"
And supposing they really are true and you did not know this man MUHAMMAD (pbuh)or hear about him, isn't it time you responded to this tremendous challenge and put in some effort to know him?
It will cost you nothing but it may prove to be the beginning of a completely new era in your life.
In the quotations below, Western writers have used the word Muhammadanism for Islam. The word Muhammadanism connotes worship of Muhammad, an absolutely unworthy statement for any learned man to use."
Prophet Muhammad's mission was to propagate the worship of the One and Only God (in Arabic Allah), the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe. His mission was essentially the same as that of earlier Prophets of God. In the historical context, many such terminologies about Muhammad, Islam, and Muslims were borrowed from earlier European writings of the Eleventh to the Nineteenth century, a time when ignorance and prejudice prevailed. The quotations below attest to the facts.
Thomas Carlyle in 'Heroes and Hero Worship and the Heroic in History,' 1840
"The lies (Western slander) which well-meaning zeal has heaped round this man (Muhammad) are disgraceful to ourselves only.""

MUHAMMAD'S SPIRITUAL PROBLEMS
-When Muhammad began receiving revelations, his first impression of these revelations was that they were demonic.
-Muhammad was so traumatized by his encounter with "Gabriel" that he repeatedly tried to commit suicide by hurling himself off a cliff.
-According to Muslim sources, Muhammad once delivered a revelation from the devil (the "Satanic Verses").
-Muhammad claimed that he was a victim of a magic spell that gave him delusional thoughts and false beliefs.
MUHAMMAD"S PROBLEMS WITH PAGANISM AND IDOLATRY
-Islam promotes idolatry (e.g., bowing down to the Kaaba and kissing the black stone).
-Islam promotes pagan rituals (e.g., the pilgrimage to Mecca).
-Islam deifies Muhammad by requiring unconditional obedience to him and by requiring Muslims to talk to him during their daily prayers.
MUHAMMAD"S PROBLEMS WITH VIOLENCE
-After leaving Mecca, Muhammad supported his religion by robbing people.
-Muhammad ordered his followers to torture a man named Kinana to find out where some money was hidden. Muhammad then had Kinana killed, and took his wife for himself.
-Muhammad commanded his followers to kill critics of Islam.
-Muhammad ordered his followers to kill apostates, even if they had good reasons for leaving Islam.
-The Qur"an commands Muslims to violently subjugate Jews and Christians.
MUHAMMAD"S SCIENTIFIC PROBLEMS
-The Qur'an claims that stars are missiles that Allah uses to shoot demons.
-The Qur'an claims that the sun sets in a pool of murky water.
-Muhammad's teachings about personal hygiene would lead to death if Muslims took them seriously.
-Muhammad claimed that Gabriel explained to him why children look like one parent or the other. Gabriel"s answer is completely false.
MUHAMMAD"S EVIDENTIAL PROBLEMS
-When Muhammad was too shy to tell his dinner guests to leave, Allah stepped in with a special revelation that should make everyone wonder whether Muhammad's revelations really have anything to do with God.
-The Qur'an declares that Christians find Muhammad mentioned in our scriptures. Yet our scriptures call Muhammad an antichrist.
-In the Qur'an, Allah promises to kill Muhammad by severing his aorta if Muhammad invents a false revelation. When Muhammad died, he said he could feel his aorta being severed.
-The Qur'an contains a prophecy that wasn't fulfilled.
-The Qur'an presents a test for divine inspiration, but fails the test.
-The central argument for the inspiration of the Qur'an is the "Argument from Literary Excellence," which is absurd on multiple levels.
-The author of the Qur'an doesn't know that Miriam, the sister of Aaron and Moses, is a different person from Mary, the mother of Jesus (because their names are the same in Arabic).
-The Qur'an claims that Alexander the Great and Aesop were devout Muslims.
-Allah promises to protect the Qur'an from corruption, but the Qur'an has been corrupted (by Muslim standards).
-Muslims believe that the Qur'an is Allah's eternal Word. Yet Allah repeatedly changes his eternal mind about his eternal Word via abrogation.
-The Qur'an is missing at least two verses in which Allah commands grown women to breastfeed grown men in order to prevent sexual misconduct.
-The Qur'an contains numerous false stories that were plagiarized from other sources.
MUHAMMAD'S PROBLEMS WITH WOMEN
-Muhammad allowed his followers to hire prostitutes.
-The Qur'an allows Muslim men to have up to four wives at a time. But Muhammad received a special revelation giving him (and him alone) the right to break the four-wife limit.
-Muhammad had sex with a prepubescent nine-year-old girl named Aisha.
-The Qur'an allows Muslim men to beat their wives into submission.
-Islam allows Muslim men to rape their female captives and slave-girls.
-Muhammad married the divorced wife of his own adopted son (after Muhammad caused the divorce), and the Qur'an offers an absurd defense of Muhammad's actions.
-When Muhammad's wife Sauda became fat and unattractive, Muhammad intended to divorce her. Sauda had to relinquish some of her marital rights to avoid being abandoned.
-After Muhammad got caught having sex with his slave girl in the bed of one of his wives, he swore that he would stop having sex with his slave-girl. Allah ordered him to break that oath.
-Muhammad claimed that women are less intelligent and less moral than men.
-When Muhammad"s wives asked why he was giving special privileges to Aisha, he justified his actions by saying that he received revelations while wearing Aisha"s dress!
MUHAMMAD"S THEOLOGICAL PROBLEMS
-According to the Qur'an, Allah has no love for unbelievers.
-According to the Qur'an, Allah is the "best of deceivers."
-According to Muhammad, Allah wants people to sin, and he threatens us with annihilation if we refuse to sin.
-Since Allah would destroy us for not sinning, the true savior of humanity, according to Islam, is Satan, who tempts human beings to sin and therefore protects us from being destroyed.
-Muhammad didn't know whether he would go to heaven or hell when he died.
-Islam teaches that Allah will punish Jews and Christians in hell for the sins of Muslims.
-Muhammad promises his followers a paradise in which Allah will bless them with eternal erections so that they can continually deflower their virgins.
MUHAMMAD"S PROBLEMS WITH CHRISTIANITY
-Islam affirms the inspiration, preservation, and authority of the Jewish and Christian scriptures, yet Islam contradicts these scriptures on a fundamental level.
-Islam claims to respect and honor Jesus, yet it portrays him as a complete failure.
-Muslims believe that the Gospel has been corrupted. But according to Islam, part of the Gospel was corrupted by Allah himself.
-Islam reverses the Gospel by having the guilty Judas die on behalf of the innocent Jesus, rather than the innocent Jesus dying on behalf of sinners.
-Christianity is confirmed by Jesus' resurrection from the dead. Since Islam contradicts Christianity, and has no comparable confirmation from God, we must reject Islam.
These Are the Main reasons I came up with. I would like to remind you, I was showing reasons why Muhammad was slandered by christans. In order to continue the flow of this debate and not get off topic. You must show good reasons why a Christian or non-Muslim should accept Muhammad as a prophet in light of these evidences to the contrary. Thanks and good luck Julia.
Don't expect me to explain about all these misconceptions in this argument. It's imossible. If you let me, I will explain about these claims from the end. Because they don't need to be exlplained in details.
- Muhammad's Problem with Christianity
Jewish, Christianity and Islam are the divin religions and were sent down by Allah. They're like the chapters of a book. When Jewish was sent, a chapter was written. Christianity was another chapter of this book. It didn't deny the previous religion. Rather, it completed Jewish. And Islam was the last chapter. After Islam's revelation, this book was written completely. Islam is the last religion and all people should follow it. The message of these religions is the same. Because they have been sent down by God. They are only different in religious laws. If you find many differences between Islam and Christianity, it's because Christianity has been corrupted.
Now, let me tell talk about your claims:
1. Islam says the Bible and Torah are corrupted
Allah revealed the Holy Quran, the Bible and Torah to His Arch-prophets; Muhammad, Jesus and Moses (peace be upon them all). In Quran, Allah mentions it many times:
"He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Quran." (3:3-4)
"And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in" doubt over his meeting. And we made the Torah guidance for the Children of Israel." (32:23)
"And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous." (5:46)
I feel these verses are enough and can prove that Allah has sent down the Scriptures. I should mention that Muslims believe in these Scriptures:
"Say, [O believers], 'We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.'" (Quran 2:136)
But there's a difference between these Scriptures and Quran. The Bible is corrupred, as Allah says in Quran:
"So woe to those who write the 'scripture' with their own hands, then say, 'This is from Allah.' in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn." (2:79)
But no one can change the Quran. Because Allah is its protector:
"Indeed, it is We who sent down the Quran and indeed, We will be its guardian." (15:9)
One may ask:" Couldn't Allah protect the Scriptures as well?"" Unfortunately, ignorant people say that Allah was unable to protect the Bible from corruption. But the fact is Allah could protect it but He didn't. The Children of Israel killed 70 prophets in a day. Allah could save them but he didn't. Christians claim:" Jesus could kill the Romans and save himself. But he didn't. He sacrificed his life and let them kill him to wipe out our sins." And I say that Allah could protect the Scriptures, but He didn't due to His wisdom. He let them corrupt the Bible because He wanted Quran to be the only true Divin Book.
We read in Quran:" And if Allah had willed, He could have made you of one religion, but He causes to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills." (16:93)
And, "Then have those who believed not accepted that had Allah willed, He would have guided the people, all of them?" (13:31)
According to above verse, Allah could guide eveyone and make them convert to Islam, but he didn't. Because:" There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion" (2:256)
2. In Islam, Jesus is one of the Arch-prophets and Quran admires him so much. But there is some differences between the Muslims Jesus and the Christians Jesus. Islam says that Jesus is just a prophet not God or the Son of God.
"O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Trinity"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son." (4:171)
Islam says that Jeses is still alive and will return with the Son of Man who is the twelfth Islamic leader.
If you want to know about the statue of Jesus in Islam, read the chapters of Mary and Ale Imran. I can't write those verses here.
3. Please read whatever I wrote above again. I compared the Jesus' sacrifice to the Bible's corruption. If you say Jesus killed himself, I will admit that Allah corrupted the Bible Himself.
4. Allah says in Quran:" And [for] their saying, 'Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of"Mary, the messenger of Allah.' And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain." (4:157)
Christians say the Romans killed Jesus but Islam says Jesus is alive. I tell you the truth:
Judah wasn't loyal to Jesus and told the Romans where Jesus was. When the Romans came to that place, they couldn't find Jesus. Because he had ascended to heavens. When the Romans were about to return, Allah made Judas resemble Jesus. And the Romans crucified Judas instead of Jesus.
It's believed that Jesus died for our sins. We fail to see how the suffering and death of one man can wipe out the sins of others. It sounds something like a physician breaking his head to cure the headache of his patients. The idea of substitutionary or vicarious sacrifice is illogical, meaningless and unjust. How about the redemption of those who were born and died before the coming of Jesus? Above all, the Old Testament tells us nothing about the so-called "ransom sacrifice'. Christians say that every human is born with sins, or all humans will eventually sin, and therefore it was necessary that someone as pure as Jesus would be crucified to nullify these sins. The question is; why does anyone have to die for our sins when Allah, the Merciful, could as easily grant us forgiveness if we asked for it? Why does He have to make someone suffer for someone else"s sins? Isn"t that unjust of Him?"
5. "Ransom sacrifice" is the is a contradiction in Bible. Jesus NEITHER died NOR resurrected. He is alive. I can prove that Bible is corrupted. But I don't because our debate isn't about it.
- Muhammad's theological problems
1. Yes, Allah doesn't love the disbelievers and corrupters. Why should Allah love them? Allah always bestow His blessings and favours upon all humans. He provides for us whatever we want. He wants nothing from us but obrying Him and being grateful to Him. But what do the disbelievers do? Do they obey Allah? Do they thank Allah? No they deny the exitence of Allah. They have forgot Him. That's why Allah doesn't love them.
Allah says:"That Day will be a difficult day for the disbelievers - not easy. Leave Me with the one I created alone. And to whom I granted extensive wealth and children present [with him]. And spread [everything] before him, easing [his life]. Then he desires that I should add more. No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate. I will cover him with arduous torment. Indeed, he thought and deliberated. So may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. Then may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. Then he considered [again]; Then he frowned and scowled; Then he turned back and was arrogant. And said, "This is not but magic imitated [from others]. This is not but the word of a human being." (74:9-25)
"Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he." (80:17)
2. "And they planned a plan, and We planned a plan, while they perceived not." (27:50)
"And the disbelievers planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners." (3:54)
In above verse, Allah says that He is the best of decivers. But what does it mean?
Imam Reza (the eighth leader of Muslims) was asked about the attribution of deceit and ridicule to Allah, which the Quran has mentioned, he replied: "Allah neither ridicules nor deceives or devises against anyone; what He does is requite ridicule, devising and deceit."
Therefore, Allah devises against those devising against Him, and this is nothing but a proportionate retribution of their own act. This devising has different degrees that one should never feel secure from, the reason being that the self is very deceitful.
For example, when performing certain religious acts, one might become proud of himself and see himself as better and higher than others, and wants to use these acts to attract others and hunt them. By this, he thinks he has deceived Allah, while Allah lets him do what he wants and doesn"t get in the way using different causes and doesn"t wake him from his sleep of ignorance. In reality, what has happened is that Allah has retaliated for this individual"s devising with His own devising. This makes Allah"s devising a good one, because it's the retribution for devising, while man"s devising is the opposite and is rooted in his wretchedness.
So, it's actually one"s own devising that is hitting him, and this is what is meant by the devising of Allah.
I can't type anymore. Please post your argument asap, so that I can continue.

"Islam says the Bible and Torah are corrupted"
However, what you have stated shows absolutely no proof that the bible has been corrupted.
Are you aware that Muhammad himself called the Christian Bible (Injeel) "Guidance and Light". Muhammad also commanded the reading of the Christian Bible as part of Islam. So I must ask have you read the christan bible?
The Muslims repeatedly claim that the Bible has been corrupted, and that the Qu'ran is the only trustworthy scripture in existence. This is why Muslims often attack the Bible. But this cannot be according to the Quran. The Quran says that the books of Moses, the Psalms, and the gospel were all given by God.
Torah--"We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of messengers," (Sura 2:87).1
Psalms--"We have sent thee inspiration, as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him: we sent inspiration to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and solomon, and to David We gave the Psalms," (4:163).
Gospel--"It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong)," (3:3).
Also, "And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah," (5:46).
We see that the Qu'ran states that the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel were all given by God. With this we Christians heartily agree. But, the Muslims claim that the Bible is corrupted and full of contradictions. If that is so, then it would seem they do not believe the Qu'ran since the Qu'ran says that the Word of God cannot be altered:
"Rejected were the messengers before thee: with patience and constancy they bore their rejection and their wrongs, until Our aid did reach them: there is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of Allah. Already hast thou received some account of those messengers," (6:34).
"The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfillment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all," (6:115).
"For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present and in the Hereafter; no change can there be in the words of Allah. This is indeed the supreme felicity," (10:64).
When Muhammed (570-632) was alive, he claimed to receive the revelation of the Qu'ran from Allah. This means that at that time the Bible, which was in existence, could not have been corrupted because the Qu'ran states that God's word cannot be corrupted. The question I have for the you is When and where was the Bible corrupted since the Qu'ran says that the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel are from Allah and Allah's words cannot be changed?
Again, below Muhammad attests to the Torah's authority. So, for Muslims to claim the Bible was corrupted is an argument already lost....
n Sura 5:48 we are told that Muhammad is given the Qur'an as a confirmation of the bible; that is - it is meant to prove the bible's authenticity....
In Sura 46:12 we are told.... "Yet before it there was the Book of Moses which was an authority, and a mercy. This (the Qur'an) is the Book confirming it in the Arabic tongue....."
You should note that nowhere in the Qur'an is there even a suggestion that the Biblical text has been altered or corrupted. The word "tahrif" is never used with reference to the Bible itself. The Qur'an occasionally accuses the Jews of concealing the truth but it never levels this accusation at Christians. It in no way implies that the text of the Bible has been corrupted. In fact, the Qur'an attests to the validity of the Christian Gospels and the Torah. As shown above AND in the verses you provided in your previous argument .
Since you have only tried to disproof just three of the many things that are wrong with Muhammad. I will now begin to explain how he was a false prophet using two simple proofs of deduction.
"But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in My name which I havenot commanded him to speak . . . that prophet shall die."
"I have fabricated things against God and have imputed to Him words which He has not spoken."
~MUHAMMAD (Al-Tabari 6:111)
Muhammad claimed that Jewish and Christian scriptures had predicted his coming (see, e.g., Qur"an 7:157). This has led Muslim apologists to comb the Old and New Testaments in search of passages that refer to their prophet. While all biblical evidence offered by Muslims in support of their prophet appears horribly strained to non-Muslims (provided the latter read the passages in context) and has been thoroughly refuted time and again, it is still common to hear Muslims claim that the Bible speaks about Muhammad.
The most popular "prophecy" about Muhammad is found in Deuteronomy 18. It is quite ironic, then, to learn that, according to Deuteronomy 18, Muhammad can"t possibly be a prophet. As we will see, this puts Muslims in an awkward position, and helps show the lengths to which they will go in their efforts to defend their prophet.
The purpose of this argument provided below is to prove, based on Muslim claims (including their appeal to Deuteronomy 18), that Muhammad was a false prophet. I will begin by presenting two arguments against the prophethood of Muhammad, and I will follow this by carefully defending the arguments.
There are two elements to look for when examining deductive arguments: valid logic and true premises. To say that a deductive argument is valid is to say that, due to the logical form, true premises will always lead to a true conclusion. The most basic argument form is the syllogism, and the most basic valid form of the syllogism is Modus Ponens. The logical form of the following arguments is Modus Ponens; thus, they are logically valid:
Argument A"false gods and false prophets
A1. If a person speaks in the names of false gods, that person is a false prophet.
A2. Muhammad spoke in the names of false gods.
A3. Therefore, Muhammad was a false prophet.
Argument B"false revelations and false prophets
B1. If a person delivers a revelation that doesn"t come from God, that person is a false prophet.
B2. Muhammad delivered a revelation that didn"t come from God.
B3. Therefore, Muhammad was a false prophet.
Since the logic of both arguments is valid, true premises will always lead to a true conclusion. Hence, if the premises of these arguments are true, Muhammad was a false prophet. Let us turn, then, to a careful discussion of our premises.
A1 and B1 seem intuitively obvious. That is, it seems clear that if a person speaks in the names of false gods or delivers revelations that don"t come from God, the person cannot be a true prophet. Nevertheless, by appealing to the Bible to bolster their belief in Muhammad, Muslims have inadvertently granted that A1 and B1 are true.
Deuteronomy 18 serves as the foundation of Islam"s "Argument from Biblical Prophecy," used by generations of Muslims to prove that Muhammad was a true prophet. Indeed, the popular Brief Illustrated Guide to Understanding Islam uses Deuteronomy 18 as its primary evidence that the Bible speaks of Muhammad. Author I. A. Ibrahim says,
The Biblical prophecies on the advent of the Prophet Muhammad are evidence of the truth of Islam for people who believe in the Bible.
In Deuteronomy 18, Moses stated that God told him: "I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account." (Deuteronomy 18: 18-19)
The book goes on to argue that Muhammad fulfilled this prophecy in numerous ways. While such claims have been refuted ad nauseum, I will simply note that Muslims have here granted that Deuteronomy 18:18-19 is inspired by God (since they regard it as a miraculous prophecy). Surely, then, we can"t ignore the next verse, where God says:
"But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die." (Deuteronomy 18:20)
Here we have two criteria for spotting a false prophet: (1) delivering a revelation which God has not "commanded him to speak," and (2) speaking "in the name of other gods." Since Muslims who appeal to so-called biblical prophecies of Muhammad have given this passage their stamp of approval, they cannot deny the truth of A1 and B1. To sum up, Muslims have appealed to a passage in Deuteronomy 18, and that passage entails premises A1 and B1. Thus, according to Muslim claims, the first premise of each of the Deuteronomy Deductions is true.

My friend, I have no idea why you misunderstand the Quran.Again, I want to prove that you are wrong.
As you and I mentioned, The Bible and Torah have been sent down by Allah. And there is no doubt about it. But which Bible? Do not forget that we have two kinds of the Bible; The Bible which was given to Jesus Christ and it was the guidance for the children of Israel (according to the Quran), and the Bible which you read every day and it is corrupted. Muslims believe that Jesus took the origin Bible to the heavens. Because he said that people did not deserve it. And also the origin Torah is hidden in the Ark of Covenant. No one knows where it is. The Gosple and the Torah which Christians and Jews read are not those Scriptures which Allah gave to His prophets. They are corrupted. Because some verses of the Bible are nonsense, illogical and unjust. For example no one can prove Trinity. The concept of Trinity is imaginary. Our debate is not about Bible but I can prove it is corrupted if you want. I just mention two simple contradictions.
1. Who is Jesus?
In John 10:30 Jesus said, "I and my Father are one." This verse, according to Christians, shows God and Jesus Christ to be the same. On the other hand, we read in John 20:17, " Jesus said,""Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers"and tell them, "I am ascending to my Father"and your Father, to my God and your God.'"
Here Jesus stated that there was a distinction between him and God. In other words that Jesus himself had a God. Also, Matthew 27:46 " About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice,""Eli, Eli,lema sabachthani?""(which means""My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?") Here Jesus Christ cried in loud voice calling for his God.
These are two different and opposite ways Jesus relates himself to God. The first one, he and God are one, and the second, he refers to a higher authority than him which is God. Now assuming that both are correct statements then we have a contradiction. If, for example, Jesus Christ was God himself as in John 10:30 then it would be more appropriate for him to say "...and to myself, and your God." in John 20:17, or "Myself, Myself, why have you forsaken me?" in Matthew 27:46.
Also Jesus said, "...for my Father is greater than I" (John 14:28). If Jesus and God were the same then he would not have said what he said in the above verse.
Who was Jesus if not the same as God? According to the Bible in Matthew 21:11 "And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee." This was Jesus. He was a prophet of God. He was sent like other prophets to deliver the message of his ONE and only ONE God. Also, in Luke 24:19 the Bible says "And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people." Jesus was a true messenger of God Almighty. He was sent by Him to deliver His will.
2. Are God and the Satan the same?
In 2 Samuel 24:1, we read that:
"Again the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel, and He moved David against them to say, 'Go, number Israel and Judah.'"
But it is written in 1 Chronicles 21:1 that:
"Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel."
These two verses are saying the same thing. But which one is true? Who incited Prophet David, God or Satan? If we claim that the Bible is true, it means Satan and God are the same. But we believe that it is corrupted, so which one is true?
The excuse of Christians is that God ordered/allowed Satan to incite David. But if it was so, the authors of the Bible would write it. But they have wrote two different things. We can understant that
1) God (exalted is He) and Satan are the same.
2) Or the Bible is corrupted.
Let's suppose God ordered Satan. Do you think God orders Satan to do something, when He has cursed him?
"[Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." (Quran 38:78)
Let's suppose God ordered Satan to do so. Do you think when David obeyed Satan, he had obeyed God as well? God has ordered us not to obey Satan. He tells us that Satan is our enemy.
"O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever, but Allah purifies whom He wills, and Allah is Hearing and Knowing." (Quran 24:21)
"Indeed, Satan is an enemy to" you; so take him as an enemy." He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze. (Quran 35:6)
God orders us not to obey Satan,
So when Satan incited David to count those men. how he (David) found out that it was the order of God? When Satan tells me to do something, we know it is his temptation. We know he wants us to disobey God. So we don't listen to Satan. God tells us not to obey Satan too. So, how God expected David to count the men, when He has forbidden following Satan? We all know Satan makes us sin. So when David counted those men, he committed sin. Because Satan incited him. So David was a sinner
Christians say God used Satan to accomplish his purposes. If it's true, it means God wanted David to commit sin. Because he used Satan. So God was evil, too. He wanted David to do an unlawful deed. He could incited David Himself. So David would obey God and get reward. Does God want someone to sin? No. It was one of those misconception you mentioned and I answer it. What God wants us to do is against what Satan wants. God wants to help us. Satan wants to corrupt us. God wants us to perform prayer. Satan wants us to neglect it. In brief, If counting the men is a good deed, God incited David. But if it is an evil deed, Satan incited him. So ONLY one of those verses is correct.
Anyway, you quoted a verse of Quran about the words of God. But you didn't read that verse carefully. Do you know what the "words of Allah" means? Let's read the verse again:
"Those who believed and were fearing Allah. For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. No change is there in the words of Allah. That is what is the great attainment." (10:63-64)
In above verse, Allah gives good tidings to the believers. Can I say that Allah promised the believers to reward them? Yes, I can. This verse is about the promise of Allah. And "the words of Allah" means His promise. And this verse says that Allah never change His promises.
"And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can alter His words." (6:115)
According to above verse, what has been fulfilled? The words of Allah or "The Promise of Allah".
"Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise." (3:9)
Ok, The Quran clearly says that Prophet Muhammad is mentioned in the Bible:
"Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in what" they have of the Torah and the Gospel." (7:157)
It shows that the Bible testifies for Muhammad. I tell you some examples:
1. "Now this is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death. And he said: 'The Lord came from Sinai, and dawned on them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran, and He came with ten thousands of saints; from His right hand came a fiery law for them. (Deuteronomy 33:1-2)
2. It speaks of (the revelation of) God coming from Sinai (to Moses), from Sair (near Jerusalem) (to Jesus) and shining from Paran. According to: He dwelt in the Wilderness of Paran; and his mother took a wife for him from the land of Egypt. (Genesis 21:21)
Paran was the wilderness, where Ishmael with his mother Hagar settled in the Area of Mecca, Arabia.
3. The pilgrims who will be passing through the valley of Ba'ca (another name of Mecca) Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they will still be praising You. Selah Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage. (Psalms 84:4-6)
4. Beloved God's elect and messenger to be awaited in the isles (Arabian Peninsula), who will be a descendant of Kedar According to Genesis 25:13, Kedar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of Prophet Muhammad. According to: And these were the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, (Genesis 25:13)
5. God's help coming from Teman (an oasis north of Medina) and the holy one (coming) from Paran - that holy one who under persecution migrated from Paran (Mecca) to Teman (Medina) God came from Temam, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of His praise. His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, and there His power was hidden. Before Him went pestilence, and fever followed at His feet. (Habakkuk 3:3-5)
Please tell me, where are Paran and Ba'ca if these verses are not about Muhammad?
If you read Quran in Arabic, you will see that Allah uses the word "Ba'ca" for Mecca:
"Indeed, the first House" [of worship] established" for" mankind was that at Mecca - blessed and a guidance for the worlds." (3:96)
You claimed that Muhammad was a false prophet. But can a false prophet split the moon?
I cannot explain about this miracle here. So please read the following article:
In next argument, I will prove that Muhammad was the real Prophet.
shipman37 forfeited this round.
3 & 4. Allah never wants Muslims to sin. Who has told you this rediculous lie? The falsehood of this misconception is such clear that I don't know how to disprove it! I just quote some Quranic verses. You said Satan is the Savior in Islam but the Quran says something different:
"O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely and perfectly and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy." (2:208)
"And also those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion -"" then evil is he as a companion." (4:38)
In the above verse, Allah says that those who follow Satan are evil.
"Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty." (2:268)
"Satan promises them and arouses desire in them. But Satan does not promise them except delusion. The refuge of those will be Hell, and they will" not find from it an escape. " (4:120-121)
This verse clearly says that Allah will punish those who follow Satan and commit sin, not those who do not sin!
I guess that's enough. If you read the verses about Satan, you will realize that Allah doesn't want us to follow him. As you mentioned Satan makes us sin. So it shows that Allah doesn't want us to sin. So obvious!
5. Muhammad knew that he would go to heaven, but he didn't let this affect on his behaviour. I mean, when a person is sure he'll go to heaven, he will get arrogant and proud. He will consider himself better than others. He may not help others and etc. In short, it will have a bad effect on his behavior.
Muhammad was infallible and best servant of Allah. He never made mistake. But he always acted like he was sinful. He cried out of fearing Allah. He performed prayer all through the night. He asked Allah for forgiveness everyday although he was pure and infallible. That's why he was humble. Muhammad knew he would go to heaven but he always ignore that.
I give you a clear example. According to the nonsense belief of Christians, Jesus will forgive their sins. They imagine they'll go to heaven. So they do what they desire. They commit each immortality and on Sundays, they confess to a priest!! They think it can remove their sins! This is the bad effect which I mentioned.
Allah told Prophet Moses (a.s):" The next time when you come for prayers bring a person who in your opinion, you are better than him." Prophet Moses searched and found no one because he couldn't find the courage to say to those who pass by him:" I am better than you are." So he decided to take an animal. He saw an ill dog and told himself:" I will take this dog with me." He put a lead on the dog and took it along with himself but after a while regretted and released the dog and came alone to pray to Allah. Allah asked Moses:" Why did you disobey My order?" Moses replied:"O my Lord. I couldn't find anyone who is lower than me." Allah said to Moses"I swear to My Magnificence and Greatness that if you could have considered a person to be lower than yourself, I would have removed you from the list of the prophets."
Was Moses lower than a dog? Was Moses lower than people? No he was the best person in his time. But Allah wanted him be humble. He wanted him consider himself lower than others.
6. Why don't you research on Islan directly? Why don't you read Quran yourself? Why don't you read the teachings of Islam yourself? Islam never says that Jews and Christians are punished instead of Muslims. I don't know what is your source for that. If it was true, what would be the difference between Rensom Sacrifice and Islam? We say Jesus' sacrifice is unjust. Because Christians claim he was killed to wipe out our sins. But in Islam, we don't have such a thing. Because:
"Indeed, Allah does not do injustice, even as much as an atom's weight; while if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward." (4:40)
Christians and Jews will be punished because they have disbelieved:
"The Jews say, 'Ezra is the son of Allah'; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah" That's their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?" (9:30)
Did you understand? That's why Allah will destroy them.
"They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah, Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers." (5:72)
Did you understand? That's why Christions will go to hell.
But what will happened if a Christian converts to Islam?
"Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans before Prophet Muhammad - those among them who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve." (2:62)
7. True Muslims will marry virgin girls in the heaven. What's your problem with that?! Non-Muslims commit unlawful sexual relations (fornication) and deflower girls illegally. But true Muslims remain chaste and do not commit it. So Allah will reward them with virgin girls in the heaven. Is it unjust?
Non-Muslims bought the life of this world in exchange for the Hereafter. (2:86). They enjoy their worldly lives and do what they love. They will enjoy in this world. But true Muslims only obey Allah. So they can enjoy in hereafter.
"And this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the eternal life, if only they knew." (29:64)
"This worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties." (47:36)
One of these rewards is virgin girls:
"Indeed, We have produced the women of Heaven in a new creation and made them virgins, Devoted to their husbands and of equal age." (56:35-37)
"In them are good and beautiful women. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? Fair ones reserved in pavilions. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? Untouched before them by man or jinni." (55:70-75)
The virgin girls are the reward of Muslims. They are patient. They control their desires and don't commit fornication. So Allah reward them like that:
"And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do." (15:96)
- Muhammad's Problem with Women
1. I don't answer this one. It is false and you had no evidence to prove that.
2. Men can have four wives. But there is two kinds of marriage in Islam; permanent marriage and temporary marriage. Muslims can have four wives for permanent marriage. But there's no limitation for temporary one.
Muhammad has many wives. But what about Prophet David and Solomon? Polygamy is a very ancient practice found in many human societies. The Bible did not condemn polygamy. To the contrary, the Old Testament and Rabbinic writings frequently attest to the legality of polygamy. Solomon is said to have had 700 wives and 300 concubines (1 Kings 11:3)"
Also, David is said to have had many wives and concubines (2 Samuel 5:13)
The only restriction on polygamy is a ban on taking a wife's sister as a rival wife (Lev. 18:18). The Talmud advises a maximum of four wives.
European Jews continued to practise polygamy until the sixteenth century. Oriental Jews regularly practised polygamy until they arrived in Israel where it is forbidden under civil law. However, under religious law which overrides civil law in such cases, it is permissible.
What about the New Testament? According to Father Eugene Hillman in his insightful book, Polygamy reconsidered, "Nowhere in the New Testament is there any explicit commandment that marriage should be monogamous or any explicit commandment forbidding polygamy."
Moreover, Jesus has not spoken against polygamy though it was practised by the Jews of his society. Father Hillman stresses the fact that the Church in Rome banned polygamy in order to conform to the Greco-Roman culture which prescribed only one legal wife while tolerating concubinage and prostitution. He cited St. Augustine, "Now indeed in our time, and in keeping with Roman custom, it is no longer allowed to take another wife."
The Quran allowed polygamy, but not without restrictions: "If you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry women of your choice, two or three or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with them, then only one" (4:3)
The Quran, contrary to the Bible, limited the maximum number of wives to four under the strict condition of treating the wives equally and justly. It should not be understood that the Quran is exhorting the believers to practise polygamy, or that polygamy is considered as an ideal. In other words, the Quran has "tolerated" or "allowed" polygamy, and no more, but why is polygamy permissible? The answer is simple: there are places and times in which there are compelling social and moral reasons for polygamy.
As the above Quranic verse indicates, the issue of polygamy in Islam cannot be understood apart from community obligations towards orphans and widows. Islam as a universal religion suitable for all places and all times could not ignore these compelling obligations."
Islam allowes men to have four wife to support and protect the widows and orphan girls. Besides, it prevents men from committing unlawful sexual intercourse.
I will explain about the marriages of Muhammad in my last argument. You have to give me evidence for other misconceptions, especially for evidental problems. Because they are false and I can't understand what you mean.
Thank you for posting. I was afraid you had no argument! I will now explain to you my argument in detail since you do seem to be showing a bit ignorance about them.
Muhammad's Theological Problems
3.)Allah endlessly threatens people with an eternity in hell for sinning, so it may seem, on first glance, that Allah is against sin. Appearances, like Allah, can be deceiving, however. According to Muhammad, Allah wants people to sin, because it gives him an opportunity to show mercy. Indeed, Allah is so desperate to show mercy, he threatens all of humanity with annihilation if we refuse to sin!
4.)As we have seen, Islam teaches that Allah wants people to sin, and he threatens humanity with annihilation if we refuse to sin. This means, of course, that we're only still here because we've sinned. If we hadn't sinned, Allah would have obliterated us. But why did we sin? According to Islam, we sinned because Satan tempted us to sin. Oddly enough, we're all alive right now because of Satan! So Satan turns out to be Islam's hidden hero, who saves us from destruction by tempting us to sin.
It takes an amazing religion to so blatantly declare that Satan is our savior!
5.) Muslims regularly pray for Allah to bless Muhammad with peace. But why would Muhammad be affected by the prayers of Muslims? The reason is that, according to Islam, even Muhammad didn't know what Allah would do to him after he died (Quran 46:9). But if Muhammad himself had no assurance of salvation, what hope is there for his followers?
For more on Muhammad's lack of assurance, see the following articles by Sam Shamoun:
6.) Muslims often object to the Christian doctrine of atonement (specifically, the doctrine that Jesus willingly died on the cross for the sins of others). But Muhammad taught his followers that Allah will punish Jews and Christians for the sins of Muslims. Is the Islamic doctrine of atonement (i.e., that Christians and Jews will unwillingly be saddled with the sins of Muslims) somehow better than the Christian doctrine (according to which God's perfect justice is matched only by his perfect love)?
Sahih Muslim 6665—Abu Musa reported that Allah's Messenger said: When it will be the Day of Resurrection Allah would deliver to every Muslim a Jew or a Christian and say: That is your rescue from Hell-Fire.
Sahih Muslim 6666—Allah’s Apostle said: No Muslim would die but Allah would admit in his stead a Jew or a Christian in Hell-Fire. S
110 Hadith Qudsi—Allah’s Messenger said: On the Day of Resurrection, my Ummah (nation) will be gathered into three groups. One sort will enter Paradise without rendering an account (of their deeds). Another sort will be reckoned an easy account and admitted into Paradise. Yet another sort will come bearing on their backs heaps of sins like great mountains. Allah will ask the angels though He knows best about them: Who are these people? They will reply: They are humble slaves of yours. He will say: Unload the sins from them and put the same over the Jews and Christians: then let the humble slaves get into Paradise by virtue of My Mercy.
7.) If they can make it to heaven, one of the rewards all Muslims are promised is 72 virgins. The number of virgins is not specified in Quran, it comes from a quotation of Muhammad recorded in one of the lesser known Hadith. ("Hadith" is an Arabic word meaning traditions. After Muhammad's death, several collections of his deeds and sayings were assembled. These collections are called Hadith and form the second most authoritative document is Islam, right after the Quran.) Due to character cap i cannot post full argument but here is a breif explanation.
Muslims are motivated to terrorism because the Quran tells them that fighting non-believers is a duty of every Muslim and the only way to be certain of going to heaven to enjoy untold sensual pleasures is to die fighting in the cause of Allah.
If they can make it to heaven, one of the rewards all Muslims are promised is 72 virgins. The number of virgins is not specified in Quran, it comes from a quotation of Muhammad recorded in one of the lesser known Hadith. ("Hadith" is an Arabic word meaning traditions. After Muhammad's death, several collections of his deeds and sayings were assembled. These collections are called Hadith and form the second most authoritative document is Islam, right after the Quran.)
Eternal erection and virginity
Modern apologists of Islam try to downplay the evident materialism and sexual implications of such descriptions, but, as the Encyclopaedia of Islam says, even orthodox Muslim theologians such as al Ghazali (died 1111 AD) and Al-Ash'ari (died 935 AD) have "admitted sensual pleasures into paradise". The sensual pleasures are graphically elaborated by Al-Suyuti (died 1505 AD), Quranic commentator and polymath. He wrote: "Each time we sleep with a houri we find her virgin. Besides, the penis of the Elected never softens. The erection is eternal; the sensation that you feel each time you make love is utterly delicious and out of this world and were you to experience it in this world you would faint. Each chosen one [ie Muslim] will marry seventy [sic] houris, besides the women he married on earth, and all will have appetising vaginas."
- Muhammad's Problem with Women
The Prophet of Islam allowed his followers to practice a form of prostitution called Nikah al-Mut'ah. In Muhammad's time, a Muslim could pay a woman for "temporary marriage," which would last a few hours, days, weeks, or months (depending on the agreement). Many Muslims today claim that Muhammad eventually changed his mind about this obviously immoral practice, and that Mut'ah is now forbidden in Islam (certain Muslim sources suggest this). But these Muslims fail to mention that some of Islam's most trusted sources plainly declare that Muhammad never prohibited Mut'ah. For instance, the following passage in Sahih Muslim says that Muslims were practicing Mut'ah well beyond the lifetime of Muhammad:
Sahih Muslim 3248—Ibn Uraij reported: 'Ati' reported that Jabir b. Abdullah came to perform 'Umra, and we came to his abode, and the people asked him about different things, and then they made a mention of temporary marriage, whereupon he said: Yes, we had been benefiting ourselves by this temporary marriage during the lifetime of the Holy Prophet and during the time of Abu Bakr and ‘Umar. Some hadith claim that it was Umar, rather than Muhammad, who outlawed Mut'ah:
Sahih Muslim 3250—Abu Nadra reported: While I was in the company of Jabir b. Abdullah, a person came to him and said that Ibn 'Abbas and Ibn Zubair differed on the two types of Mut'a (Tamattu’ of Hajj 1846 and Tamattu’ with women), whereupon Jabir said: We used to do these two during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger. Umar then forbade us to do them, and so we did not revert to them.
According to Sahih al-Bukhari (Sunni Islam's most trusted collection of ahadith), Mut'ah is justified by the Qur'an itself! Consider the following verse from the Qur'an:
Qur'an 5:87—O ye who believe! Forbid not the good things which Allah hath made lawful for you, and transgress not, Lo! Allah loveth not transgressors.
Notice how this verse was used by Muhammad:
Sahih al-Bukhari 5079—We used to participate in the holy battles led by Allah's Messenger and we had nothing (no wives) with us. So we said, "Shall we get ourselves castrated?" He forbade us that and then allowed us to marry a woman temporarily by giving her even a garment and then he recited to us: "O you who believe! Make not unlawful the good things which Allah has made lawful for you." (5.87)
Hence, Muslim men who want to hire prostitutes can simply point out that both the Qur'an (the Word of Allah) and Muhammad (Islam's final prophet) allowed prostitution, and that later Muslims (like Umar) cannot overrule Allah and Muhammad.
For a more thorough discussion of Mut'ah in the Islamic sources, see the following article by Sam Shamoun:
2.) According to the Qur'an, Muslim men are allowed to have up to four wives at one time (Qur'an 4:3). Muhammad, however, was married to eleven wives at once:
Sahih al-Bukhari 268—“Anas bin Malik said, ‘The Prophet used to visit all his wives in a round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number.’ I asked Anas, ‘Had the Prophet the strength for it?’ Anas replied, ‘We used to say that the Prophet was given the strength of thirty (men).’ And Sa'id said on the authority of Qatada that Anas had told him about nine wives only (not eleven).”
So if Allah's eternal Word says that Muslims can marry no more than four wives, why did Muhammad get more? It seems that Allah's eternal Word also contains an exception for Muhammad. Qur'an 33:50 says that Muhammad (and only Muhammad) was free to take for himself as many wives as he liked. Getting suspicious yet?
Since you have left many of my other points unnoted I will now list all of the ones I would like you to try and rebuttal in the comment section. (Ive tried my best to fit into argument but character restriction won the battle) That is… if you even have an argument. And during round six. I will provide more evidence and defend my claims.
- You stated again that Allah wants Muslims to sin. I give you an example:
According to Ransom Sacrifice, Jesus died to wipe out your sins. And I say that Jesus wants Christians to sin, because it gave him an opportunity to sacrifice his life. Is it true? No!
Christians claim that Jesus died to forgive their sins. But did he allow/ordered them to sin? Can you find a verse in Bible in which Jesus says:"Commit sin; I will forgive you!" or "Commit sin; for if you refuse, the Father will punish you!" No, Jesus doesn't want Christians to sin. So does Allah. If ignorant people and commit immorality, it is their own choice.
Allah is the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. He forgives our sins
"O My servants who have transgressed against themselves by sinning, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" (29:53)
But He doesn't want anyone to commit sin. People themselves follow Satan:
Allah tells Satan:" Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators. And"indeed, Hell is the promised place for them all." (15:42-43)
Satan said, 'By your might, I will surely mislead them all Except, among them, Your chosen servants.'" (38:82-83)
Satan deceives us but it's us who follow him:
"His [devil] companion will say, 'Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he himself was in extreme error.'" (50:27)
Allah knows we're not perfect and infallible. He knows we may commit sin. So He forgives us if we repent sincerely and stop sinning
"O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds." (66:8)
But if we don't regret after sinning and refuse to repent, He punishes us.
"O Muhammad, inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment." (15:49-50)
Allah will punish Satan and his followers:
"Allah said, 'The truth is My oath, and the truth I say - That I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together.'" (38:84-85)
A true Muslims lives in a state between fear and hope. He fears the punishment of Allah. So tries to avoid sinning. And at the same time, he hopes Allah will forgive him if he repent sincerely.
What about Christians? They commit each immortality they desire. On sundays, they confess to a priest who himself commit adultry! And again, they commit sins like before!
To my mind, Christianity is an amazing religion! Because it says God and Satan are the same! And its theology is so funny! What is origin sin?! What trinity?!
- You said again about the virgin girls. What's your problem with that? Do you envy Muslims? In this world, you can deflower girls illegally and they remain chaste. But in hereafter, you will taste the punishment and they marry virgin girls. Isn't it fair?
"And for them are fair women with large, beautiful eyes, The likenesses of pearls" well-protected, As reward for what they used to do." (56:22-24)
- Yes. Muslims ask Allah to bestow peace and blessing upon Muhammad. It is called "Salwat". We also ask Allah to bestow peace upon other prophets. But reciting Salawat is just for our Noble Prophet. Do you know what Salawat is?
Salawat is the symbol of love friendship and devotion to the family of Muhammad which Quran regards as the reward for his Messengership.
"Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and" He is the best of providers." (22:72)
Salawat is the polish for man"s rusty soul and it wipes away hypocrisy.
It is a factor in wiping away sins, a means for opening the gates of heaven, the reason behind the angels" supplication for man and asking for the forgiveness of his sins, and a means of proximity to the Prophet on the Day of Judgement and the obtainment of his intercession.
The one who has blissful fate is he whose last statement in the world is salawat.
Allah initially sends blessings to the Prophet and then orders us to send salawat:
"Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels ask Him to do so. O you who have believed, ask Allah to" confer blessing upon him and ask Allah to grant him peace." (33:56)
From this verse and the following traditions, we've obtained following points regarding salawat:
1. Salawat is a verbal gesture of respect, but what is more important is the practical obedience required.
2. The salawat of Allah and the angels is permanent in the present perfect tense.
3. The salawat of Allah is nobility; the salawat of the angels is mercy; and the salawat of the people is supplication.
4. It's narrated that Allah told Moses:"Send salawat upon Muhammad and his progeny as I and the angels do send salawat upon him."
5. Muhammad said:" To remember Allah is a form of worship and to remember me is also a form of worship, and the same is true with respect to my successor Ali ibn Abi Talib."
6. It's narrated: "For the acceptance of your supplication, send salawat first before supplicating." Not only the sending of salawat upon hearing the name of the Prophet but also writing it after his name has reward. Muhammad said: "The angels are praying for the forgiveness of anyone who would send salawat to me in his book so long as my name exists in that book."
Reciting Salawat has so meny benefits for us which you can read in following link:
- What do you know about Mut'ah? Do you think it's like sex-work? Sex-work is an unlaful sexual intercourse between a man and woman who are not related to each other. Sex-workers are also called one-night-stand couple. Quran calls them secret lovers. But mut'ah is compeletely different. It's a kind of marriage but for a short time. Mut'ah is an lawful relationship which is arranged according to Islamic Shari'a. When a girl and boy want to marry for a short time, they need the consent of their parents. If their parents are disagree, they can't marry. The boy and girl, along with their parents, must go to an Islamic center where a Muslim scolar recite the marriage sermon/Khutbah. After that, the boy and girl are married and becomes Mahram. It means they can have physical intimacy for a specific time and it's not sin. Mut'ah prevents fornication. - About the "Satanic Verses", what you said is called the fake tradition of Gharaniq. This tradition is a fabrication created by the enemies of Islam in order to weaken the position of Quran and the Prophet. Here's the story:
"The Prophet was busy reciting the Chapter Al-Najm when he reached the verse that said:"So have you considered al-Lat and al-'Uzza? And Manat, the third - the other one?" (15:19-20)
When he reached this part Satan caused him to recite the following words:"These are beautiful and lofty birds and there is hope of intercession from them." Hearing it, the polytheists became overjoyed and said:" Up until now, Muhammad had never spoken of our gods in a positive fashion!" At this point, the Prophet prostrated and they also did the same. Then Gabriel descended and told the Prophet that he had not brought down those two verses and that they were the insinuations of Satan. It was at this time that the verses of:" And We sent not before you any messenger except that We revealed to him that,'There is no deity except Me, so worship Me.'" (21:25)
There are several proofs showing the fabricated status of this tradition:
1. According to researchers, the narrators of this tradition are weak and unreliable. It"s attribution to Ibn Abbas is also a matter of uncertainty. According to Muammad Ibn Isaq, this tradition is the fabrication of the atheists and he has also written a book on this subject.
2. Numerous traditions have been narrated in various books on the revelation of Chapter Najm and how the Prophet and the rest of the Muslims prostrated upon reciting it. However, not one of these traditions mentions the tale of the Gharaniq and this shows that the other part of the tradition was added during a later time.
3. The beginning verses of Chapter Najm explicitly counter any such claims by saying:" By the star when it descends, Your companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred, Nor does he speak from his own inclination. It is not but a revelation revealed." (53:2-4)
This verse clearly destroys the fabricated addition of the Gharaniq.
4. All the verses which follow the aforementioned verse contain only words against the idols:" That, then, is an unjust division. They are not but mere names you have named them - you and your forefathers - for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow not except assumption and what their souls desire, and there has already come to them from their Lord guidance." (53:21-22)
In light of such severe censure against idolatry, how is it possible that words of praise could have been mentioned just a few verses beforehand? In addition, Allah has mentioned in the Quran that he has protected his book from all distortion and alteration:" Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian." (15:9)
