Christians that use the Bible as a reason to oppose homsexuality are, for the most part, hypocrites.

Homosexualtiy is only mentioned in 2 places in the Bible, once in Leviticus and again in Paul's letters. In this section I will stick to the old testament. We'll move on to the new testament later. Supposedly Christian people frequntly quote Levitics 18-22, "Man shall not lay with man...". But I wonder, how many of them are themselves in violation of the rules in Leviticus? Have they ever planted a vegetable garden with more than 1 vegetable in it or worn poly-cotton blend underware? These are both big no nos, Leviticus 19-19. Do they like their steak or burgers rare? According to Leviticus 19-26, that is not allowed. Do they kill anyone that commits adultery? They should, it says so in Leviticus 20-10. Do they burn the daughter of priest that happens to have less than stellar morals? That's what they are supposed to do according to Leviticus 21-9. Do they belive that any woman that is not a virgin should not be taken as a wife? Oh, and by the way, it doesn't matter if her lack of virginity is caused by rape, choice, being a widow, or being divorced, Leviticus 21-13 and 14. Have they ever gone to church while not completely whole? Maybe with a limp, or a cut on your face, or maybe while blind, or deaf, or with a hunchback? Leviticus 21-16 through 20. I found all of these things in 4 pages of Leviticus. There are many more, but you can read them for yourselves. How can anyone who wants to be taken seriously hold up a sign with Leviticus 18-22 on it, while not having any idea of the the other nosensical stuff printed on the same page?

Because you missed the 1st round, I'll skip this one to let you respond to the last. Unfortunately it's making me have at least 100 characters, so I'll add this sentence.

I actually had a great new testament argument to use. It quoted chapter and verse a few a Paul's more interesting idea's about women. But apparently it's not necessary.

Actually poly-cotton blend would probably not count as mingled "linens and woolens." per the passage. But the seed bit you seem to be correct :D

The rare bit of steak and burger depends just how rare, as usually "with the blood" is pretty limited (although on occasion I've eaten basically raw beef).

21:9 pretty clearly says they "Shall be" burnt, which does not necessitate the Christian actually burning them, it's just a prediction, presumably God's supposed to do it (he doesn't, which means the bible is wrong of course :D)

it is mentioned quite a few times more than twice... to strengthen your argument look at the root meanings of the words used, it may come as a nice surprise :)
