I think cloning should be banned because it is illegal and also everybody in the world would want to be unique. Making clones of people results in dead foetuses. For example, to make Dolly the sheep approx. 200 foetuses had died. In case you don't know, Dolly the sheep was the first animal clone and she died at the age of 6. A procedure called the nuclear transfer was used to make her and she was a clone of her sister

"To each his own" You yourself don't have to accept the fact that cloning is not immorale. No harm no foul. First of all, humans have genetically altered systems in the body that are much stronger then sheep. Maybe somebody wants to have their legacy live on, or want to be in two places at once, they are still unique, just twice as much.

Yeah Jason, I thought so too. But the argument about Dolly kinda threw me off a bit. Not sure if he was talking about animal cloning?

@RXR Humans ARE animals. The benefits of perfecting the process of cloning greatly outnumbers the cons.

Human cloning is unethical and should stay illegal. It causes mutations and is 99% in effective. I do support animals cloning though.

I'm very interested in the debate. Just to clarify one thing before I consider accepting it, by cloning you mean all forms of cloning right?
