Common Core, for math, ELA, and other subjects are stressing kids out to the extent.
In the article, "A Poison Pill for Learning", it states "New York State had its second round of annual tests based on the Common Core, and for the second time, the results were disastrous." According to nydailynews.com, 8 and 9 year olds are being stressed out from the common core tests. ""These are 8-year-olds and 9-year-olds, and they"re stressed out and worried!" Said Stewart, 42, whose son attends the third grade at Public School 69 in Jackson Heights, Queens. "I don"t want my child or any child to have to go through this type of pressure.""
According to npr.org, that in some places, like Finland, people are giving students stress, by basically saying (quoted from article) bomb this test, kids, and you can kiss your dreams goodbye. But also in Finland, beside the Common Core tests, they require their own "entrance exams" too.
Common Core standards are stressing kids out, and with this stress comes bad scores, and with bad test scores, in some places, you may not get your dream job. No kids should be stressed out over a test.

Yup, common core stresses kids out. I am pro. Please give some points as con as to why common core doesn't stress kids out. I will take up your conceded point, that common core is stressful for many students and common core should be easier. It also should have lesser homework and tests.

Some kids may like common core, not for math

Common core has more homework, at least in my school. Teachers say we need more practice to improve. Surprisingly, extended has less work than common core.

I am taking your first round points as well, if you don't mind. Save me some research.

To conclude, common core stresses kids out as it gives a lot of homework, isn't as easy as it should be and has regular testing.

Reasons for voting decision: Con ff many times, so conduct to Pro. This used to be good enough, but maybe it's not valid because I didn't show where they forfeited.
