Firstly according to the rules of Common Core, parents do not have a say in their child's education. If parents wont have a say, then what is the point for them spending their tax money on it. Secondly, teachers will not have a control over what to teach. They will be forced to teach what the standards suggests which were made by a federal bureaucrat. I mean who would know better on how students would learn. A person who is with them all day, or someone who sits in a office and signs bills?

Thank for the info. I was being sarcastic the whole time, as I had accidentally accepted the challenge, thinking you were an advocate for common standards.

Common Core is like an apple everyone has to nibble on until they get to the center or the core with seeds that are chewy but taste bad. See what I mean "the" in the previous comment became "they."

Yes Common Core is a form of standardize testing that was put in motion this year. It makes learning complicated. I have experienced it, and never want to go through it again

I just looked it up, and I think the fact I don't know what it is has to do with how my states doesn't have them. So I guess I cannot debate you. I would of, but oh well.
