Are Computers better than ps4I think the computer is better than the ps4 because many games are made for the computer and modifying computer games is easier to modify. For instance Minecraft is really easy to mod. Also you can buy stuff off of websites like amazon ebay and many others. You can read on computers but you can't on ps4. So thats why I think computers are better than ps4.

1.) The Problem of Standards
The question posed is whether "Computer is better then ps4." I do not need to prove the ps4 is better than the computer, but that the computer is not better than the ps4. The problem with Pro's argument is that he uses an arbitrary standard to measure the value of a computer vs. the value of a ps4. Pro states that the computer can do things the ps4 cannot, but that doesn't mean the computer is better. In Pro's subjective view, it makes the computer better. But to someone else, the additional features can be what make the computer worse than the ps4.

2.) Conclusion
To state that the computer is objectively better than a ps4 is a fallacious argument, since the standard used to judge whether it's better is a completely arbitrary standard. Also, a person could consider more features to be a bad thing. In conclusion, it is not possible to support the claim that a computer is better than a ps4.

I thank Pro, the readers, and voters for this debate.

I would like to note that I did provide an argument, my argument being that Pro's notion wasn't an objective notion.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct- Pro wins conduct because the con did not bother to put forth an argument since it was a one round debate. Not creating your own argument and only putting forth a rebuttal is in which the opposing side can not speak about is not good conduct in my opinion Argument Both sides are tied in most areas except for their argument. This is because rather than proving why the pros primary argument wasn't good enough, the con just stated that it was "arbitrary".

Reasons for voting decision: @TheHardcoreSlammer used bad grammar mixed with an insufficient viewpoint of a simply stated opinion. Pase actually produced a valid argument that both explained his thoughts and shot down any ideas of the opponent.

Reasons for voting decision: Con brought up more arguments and did say that more features does not necessarily make something "better." However I'm giving a conduct point to Pro because Con kind of relied on semantics and eh, I don't think that's great conduct, especially in a single round debate.

Reasons for voting decision: Args - Con did not have the BoP, so refuting and attacking pro's case would suffice as arguments. Con proved that the standard of rating the 'betterness' of an object is subjective, and proved that the standard of rating did not fulfill the BoP that pro has. Objectivity is what the resolution is implying, and con proved that pro's case was based on subjectivity. Args to con. Happy to clarify if you want me to.
