I say that greenhouses are good for the environment, you can plant flowers, shrubs, even trees, and nothing can get into your greenhouse unless it breaks or you let the creature in

I believe that greenhouses have a negative effect on the environment, largely due to the amount of energy it takes to keep one in a usable condition, especially in the parts of the world that these would actually be helpful. For example, in the Netherlands, they have to open the windows to prevent the plants from dying due to the extreme heat, and in the winter they have to be electrically heated.

Rebuttals:

1. You can plant flowers, shrubs, even trees

You can plant flowers, shrubs, and trees almost anywhere, and if you can't, the greenhouse will probably require more energy than the daytime sun can provide.

2. Nothing can get into your greenhouse unless it breaks or you let the creature in

I don't see how that is relevant to the environment. Even if it was, a fence does the exact same thing, but is much more efficient.
