I will be debating that schools should teach their students about the theory known as creationism in a comparative religion class.

Guidelines

1) All common guidelines must be followed; No plagiarism, debate must be taken seriously, etc.

2) No semantics. If you are unsure about a word, do not accept the debate and make your own definition. Ask.

3) Sources must be proven reliable.

4) First round is for acceptance only. This shows that you have agreed with all the guidelines and definition, and if you fail to follow a guideline or definition and claim you did not know, I could use your acceptance against you, because it shows you have read and agreed with all guidelines and definitions.

Definitions

Creationism - The theory that the christian god created the heavens and the earth in six twenty-four hour days, going by specific order.

There is a separation of church and state.[1] Being that state schools and most private schools are state funded, to teach creationism, being a theist belief, due to the secular nature of our government, and, therefor, the secular nature of our schools, is unconstitutional.

Firstly, coming back to your article sourced. Why do you believe that article?
Again, Have you ever considered the phrase consider the source? You're puting your trust in a site implying the earth was created 6000 years ago in it's very name. Not to mention the argument is entirely based in anecdotal evidence. Why don't you give me the percentage of those cases beside the one's that aren't. Even if you can site that number, if it's so little as 99.999% you've proven yourself wrong with that argument.
Creationism is a theory (lamen's terms), evolution is a science. See the difference? One is proven by people who have spent their lives studying and learning how to study this subject, the other is thrown together based on things written in a book thousands of years ago by the most discounted minority in the world. And here's your links. Notice the difference in source.

Could it be that you are posting that because you don't have any evidence. If evidence is so easy to find, like you make it seem, then it shouldn't take you 5 minutes.

Why don't you do some research, see what the scientists have to say, double check your argument and make sure you're correct, make sure the conclusion you came to from it is correct. Wait, you're not looking to change you're mind, you're look to get people to talk to you. pathetic.

Leave, troll. Quit fishing for attention.

Still nobody has shown me any evidence of evolution. How can you believe in a theory that doesn't have any evidence backing it up.

Did you even read it. What you said has nothing to do with what this page was about. It was saying that there is no evidence for man-ape fossils, and that the only ones that people claim to have found were nothing but mistakes and hoaxes.

Let me ask you a question. Have you ever heard the term consider the source? Your source is horrible. The entire argument is that the fossil evidence doesn't match up with the art. That's the dumbest argument ever. Even if it's true (which I'm not claiming to know) that's not an argument. You're a complete moron. God forbid your children inherit your mind.

Also, you've given a single example up against generations of fossil discovery. Good job with the anecdotal evidence, moron.
