There really isn't an argument here. I believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion. My opinion is that we as Americans should be more concerned about what's best for the country than a cup. We sit and squabble like children when it doesn't actually matter.
In a world filled with many items, there is none more divisive right now than the 2015 Red Starbucks Cup". On the surface, it might look like a simple crimson container sized to hold either 8, 12, 16, 20, or 30 fluid ounces of the life-giving dark nectar we know as coffee.
But it's much more than that.
In certain pockets of the US, it speaks to something larger than the vessel from which we drink our hot, caffeinated beverages.
Your argument has nothing to with the issue. The "larger something" that you referred to is simply "Buy Me". Any thought that simply making the cup red somehow degrades Christmas and is anti-Jesus, is folly. Quoting TheSatiricalAnarchist "A PAGAN GODDESS in the... Starbucks logo itself".
Ok ok u got me there, but your argument has nothing to do with this either. its like you are avoiding the fact that the red cup is discriminating Christmas. I believe that the red cup should be removed from the shelves and they should put up a different design.
Classically, the color red has been a normal Christmas color. Christmas is traditionally about the birth of Jesus, so color has nothing to do with it at all. I'm sure Jesus doesn't care what color the is.
