I think the education system are followed by today's institutions is very bad because we are not creating genius or reproductive students we are generating only a book worms. They don't have any practical knowledge about work or many others things.
Although many may disagree, the education system has changed quite drastically in the past few decades. Although many students will say that the work load has worsened, it has not. However, the subjects that students take has morphed in to a system that best fits the needs of the students. There are few mandatory subjects, and many others to choose from. This helps students who, let's say, are specifically interested in arts. They are able to take design classes, art theory classes, etc., while students who may be interested in history may take classes such as ancient history, social studies, political science, etc. They say that stress has increased in students drastically over the past fifty years, but that is for many more reasons than school alone, such as media pressuring them to be perfect, relationships with friends and family, and monetary problems. The education system may not be perfect, but it's not even close to awful.
